As much as i really would want to like this movie i simply cannot. My expectations for this movie lower every time i see a different trailer or read about it in the news. It's just going to be cliche in every sense. But of course i will see it anyway
Where is my Norris?! [editline]12:04AM[/editline] And my Jackie Chan, dammnit. And Harrison Ford if you can count him.
All they need is Chao Yun Fat and they are good.
Good old governator taking some time off to film manly man movies.
I think my balls exploded. [editline]12:17PM[/editline] Also RATED M FOR MANLY
Where is my Norris?! [editline]12:04AM[/editline] And my Jackie Chan, dammnit. And Harrison Ford if you can count him.
Norris is 80 something. Jet Li is cooler then Jackie. And there can only be one martial arts trained asian. Harrison should have ended his action career before Indiana Jones 4.
Harrison should have ended his action career before Indiana Jones 4.
millions of agrees to this man
I'm a little disappointed that they don't have Jackie Chan in there. Won't stop me from seeing it though.
Wow this is Arnold's first Film since "Terminator 2 the super Fantastical musical" By Mad TV I hope that I got the Chronology Right there
I think they mean T3.
I'm ready for a mangasm.
Watched it yesterday, it's like the worst movie I've seen in a couple of years. I was sitting there wishing for it to end as soon as possible. 2/10
Just watched it at a midnight showing with some friends. Was an awesome manly action movie.
They forgot Chuck Norris. Also awww, I expected them to pump Arnold full of Steroids again and make him the grand star of the entire movie. :saddowns: [editline]02:22PM[/editline] Apparantly Jean-Claude Van Damme was supposed to be in the movie, but he denied it.
Jean-Claude Van Damme was personally offered a role by Stallone, but turned it down because he felt there was no substance to his character.[4] Stallone said that Van Damme told him that he should "be trying to save people in South Central."[5] Dolph Lundgren was cast next.
dolph, the man who smells crime before it happens
Anyone who watches this in the cinema will come out with a Man beard EVEN THE WOMEN
Amen
Oh my fucking Lord. This is going to be beyond words. I do wonder why they didn't include Segal, Norris, and Van Damme in this though. If it had Spetsnaz or SAS in it, it'd be double-awesome. Like others have said, I don't care if the story is shit or the acting isn't great, I'm watching it just to see action characters blow shit up.
Watched it yesterday, it's like the worst movie I've seen in a couple of years. I was sitting there wishing for it to end as soon as possible. 2/10
Can you give anymore detail? If you expected a clever plot etc then you are stupid, not the film.
Violence without a plot is boring. Well, when it's two hours long it is. Well, at least it's "only" an hour and fourty minutes, so it shouldn't be that bad. I'm not interested, but I can see the appeal.
going to see this tonight
I thought Schwarzenegger quit acting due to him being a a governor and shit
he did but how could he pass up a movie like this
He does like one single scene.
He did like one single scene.
Even though he did just one single scene, certain workers from California are making a big deal out of it, in fact some people are making a protest out of it! It was in my local paper today. Someone went out of their way to make this, probably in CA. Some critics felt after the A-Team and the Losers, this just was one more, and without the big name manly cast, they said it should of been straight to video, but you know what? Action is action. Why would you sit in a predictable Romantic movie if you know what to expect, if you were not into it and not in a relationship? I guess thats why some people who watch movies in general, maybe because they have to (critics) may say otherwise. If your tired of the same thing, invent a full new movie genre then. Just out of curiosity, to those that rated this 2/5, (certain media critics have too) when you compare to that Will Ferell/Mark Wahlberg movie, which is better? I am not even going to mention Inception, because that has something new and old others can't touch.
I'm not even sure what you're trying to say. Just because it's an action movie doesn't mean it should just be a mindless blood bath. I can appreciate any genre of movie, but I won't like an action movie if it doesn't have some substance to it, because then it's just cheap, boring and stupid gratuitous violence. And predictable romantic movies aren't very good either.
I hope to Jesus that wasn't an AA-12 :sigh:
Saw it a few hours ago It delivered exactly what I expected it to, and I am not disappointed
I jizzed from all the badassery during the final scene. The part with the black guy and the AA12=HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUUUUUUU-
I hope to Jesus that wasn't an AA-12 :sigh:
It's a fully-automatic 12 gauge shotgun. A fully automatic 12 gauge fucking shotgun. That gun was MADE for this movie.
This is going to be the manliest thing ever. Any woman who watches it will instantly turn into a man.
The only way this could have been improved is if they stone cold stunnered Steve Austin to death.
