uh okay so because i disliked a movie because it was bad in every sense of the world and i didn't like the action my opinion is invalid? i get the whole mindless action thing but it only works when the action is actually good i seriously don't understand how you can say my taste and logic sucks because i legitimately critique a film for being bad instead of overlooking the fact it was bad and liking it anyway because it was 'awesome'
People saying another person is stupid for their opinion will always happen and that sort of thing will always be around. People expect that their opinion is better than yours and it's the right choice...even though it's an opinion. Anyways, I have not seen the movie yet, however, I think I will wait and watch it on PPV or rent it.
Watch and learn, Skippy; class is in session. Here's The Master at work: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/escape-to-the-movies/1780-The-A-Team
that was awful and he glorified smokin' aces, which was also a terrible film this guy literally has one of the worst opinions [editline]06:00PM[/editline] most people agree too so it's not just me - smokin' aces has a tomatometer of 28, the a-team has 48, and the expendables has 43. how can you say that my opinion sucks it's pretty much a general consensus that these films are no good

MovieBob's logic is impeccable, perfect. He understands things from their hearts, digs deeper than anyone else bothers. The references he makes go over my head all the time, and I find out he's referring to a very specific artist, writer or actor, which signifies that he has taken the time to peruse and master the masters, old and new. And since you seem to behave like you're half asleep, MovieBob's judgement on Expendables was that it was this year's "Transformers", so I don't know why you're throwing that particular statistic at me when I've gone out of my way to declare it's status as irredeemable crap.
Why should MY opinion be affected by some internet entertainer (read: whore) [editline]05:45PM[/editline] the attention seeking variety

I don't take anything from The Escapist very seriously. And you lost all your credibility after this:
Your taste and logic really suck, y'know that?

Why should MY opinion be affected by some internet entertainer (read: whore)
lol what.
Lets stay on topic here Tubbertaco [editline]06:02PM[/editline] My point remains
MovieBob understands film and gaming in a way nobody else does. He understands what really matters. He is smarter and more qualified than any of the other pale wimps who claim themselves to be "critics". So you shut your damn mouth and respect your betters. I can think of very few he can't outsmart. Roger Ebert was one of very few to positively review "Bonny and Clyde", where other critics dismissed it for being too violent. He helped spearhead a film-making revolution. Such is the genius we have on our hands with MovieBob, who took arms upon the stinkers our current spineless critics gave passes, and glorified the films others failed to see the value in.
the A-Team was disgustingly bad up until the very last action sequence which was the only redeemable part of the film. that and Patrick Wilson. even liam neeson sucked in the A-Team, that's how you know it was shitty
I didn't like the movie either but I don't think it was the actor's faults. They had quite a few capable actors but I think the script was just horrible. I enjoyed Smokin' Aces though.
Who cares people have their opinions. Just like I liked both Transformers and will gladly see the third. People will not like the same thing as you. But them saying your a fucking idiot if you see x movie is fucking stupid.
Actually, this is quite helpful. When people post their reviews of this movie, if they'd say whether they liked "Transformers" or not, it'll let me know whether I should give a fuck or not about their opinion.
Just got back from seeing this movie and it is deffo one of the best movies I've seen when you look back at these last 10 years. My favourite movie is The Shawshank Redemption followed by The Thing.

But...one of the best movies of the last 10 years??? Makes me want to call shenanigans.
that was awful and he glorified smokin' aces, which was also a terrible film
WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA tOO FAR, smoking aces was a very good movie
most people agree too so it's not just me - smokin' aces has a tomatometer of 28, the a-team has 48, and the expendables has 43.
rotten tomatoes is the most biased and inaccurate piece of shit out there tbh
rotten tomatoes is the most biased and inaccurate piece of shit out there tbh
It's got a 45 (out of 100) on Metacritic, but the user reviews and critic's reviews seem to be diametrically opposed on this one (the average user review is an 8).
Okay one of the better movies. I just really liked it.
Good to know. I was waffling, but now that I know it's not shit, I'm gonna check it out.
I don't pay attention to critics' opinions. Because I just really don't care what they think.
I pay attention to IMDB ratings. Those seem to be on the ball for me when it comes to good movies. Anything above a 7 is worth a watch. This movie has a 7.9
WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA tOO FAR, smoking aces was a very good movie rotten tomatoes is the most biased and inaccurate piece of shit out there tbh
The only person in the world who agrees with me about Smokin' Aces being a good (or very good) movie.
I agree. And so does my dad.
I walked out of this film with a full facial beard, a full chest of hair like a fucking bear, and a third testicle. It's that fucking manly.
I walked out of this film with a full facial beard, a full chest of hair like a fucking bear, and a third testicle. It's that fucking manly.
This is what this is about here scot is what can the movie, unlike the above .
I mean, most people who watch this movie seemingly expected a deep plot, alot more character development thus forgetting that this movie is what it was from start: a pure action movie with little plot and alot of good pewpewboomboomswearfunnyjoke
Where's Chuck Norris? Too awesome for the movie i guess.
This is what this is about here scot is what can the movie, unlike the above .
What the fuck did you just say?
The Bum review of this movie is out. http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/thatguywiththeglasses/bum-reviews/27493-the-expendables

If I went to see this movie just for the action, would I still be disappointed?
