At least you don't watch Australia's Got Talent. We had some guy whose talent was smashing watermelons on his head. I'll admit, I can't do that, and he's the only one I know who can. But watch this, and tell me if you think it's worth actually watching a show of him. He's a teacher. He teaches people who will control my income.
What the fuck was he doing at 2:51-3:06?
Boo. Fucking. Hoo.
He flies them INDOORS. Have you ever tried flying them without any wind?
At first I was feeling genuinely intrigued at this indoor kite flying thing, and the whole epilepsy bit wad me hooked. Then they started playing "In the arms of an angel" and I saw a regular kite which happened to be indoors, and the thought "really?" abruptly came to mind.
Everyone's thoughts exactly.
mmhmm. What a boring act!
Yeah, I just was going to say what everyone else has. Really, the guy has epilepsy, and he gets sympathy for it on shows like this (Not saying it isn't deserved). And while it may seem boring and have had terrible choice of music, it's actually really fucking amazing. Not only do some people have trouble flying kites normally with wind, this was indoors with no wind and I'm assuming no fans. He did that by his own momentum and muscle. That's talent, even if not flashy, not to mention impressive considering his condition.
ever try flying a kite inside? it's fucking hard boring as shit to watch but it's hard to do
Oh boo hoo he has Epilepsy. I have Epilepsy and he gets no pity from me.
We now rate you hearts
Ripping off playing an air instrument is the same as calling someone out for shaking hands the same way you do. Kid had soul when he flew that kite, was awesome. On an unrelated note, why do we have two brits and a canuck judging America's got talent?
Good point, maybe they should get three native americans to judge it. i bet the americans would have clapped if he'd had a fit halfway through. also i like how the touching moment was tactlessly interupted by the advert, they didnt even fade out slowly or anything they just cut out to his voice lol. kite flying is not something many people will want to watch and sympathy stories aren't even entertaining, unless it's something cool or funny like a a guy with no arms juggling
This thread reminds me about an epilepsy pity vote I saw in fifth grade. My teacher had a seizure right in the middle of class, pretty much broke her face. Just to add a detail, I laughed because I was in the back row and thought she just fell on purpose for a joke. Because of the seizure, she was given a trophy for best teacher of the year, in the school sector. She certainly wasn't.
Everyone knows the key to making it through America's got Talent is to have a good sob story. Fuck, people have gotten through just for being a little kid or poor. At least this guy actually did something cool. Shame on you, OP.
I can't even fly a kite outside.
Why are you making fun of a kid just because he does what he likes to do. Go on America's Got Talent and show them your skills in Garry's Mod, they'll be real impressed.
I think that on these shows the contestants should not be allowed to share any of their hardships and diseases. They should just say their name, what they are going to do, and perform.
Oh boo hoo he has Epilepsy. I have Epilepsy and he gets no pity from me.
And you don't get any pity from me because I have epilepsy as well. Oh what now?
I think the kite flying was relaxing. But he probably is getting pity votes for being disabled. Either way, he'll have competition on the show.
You think thats bad? We had a crazy guy that smashed watermelons on his head then screamed until the judges let him through to the next round.
Oh holy fuck that was the funniest and stupidest thing I have ever seen ahaha :smith:
Like I said. He went on to the second round. And now we have a red-haired Prime Minister. What is Australia coming to?
Australia's Got Talent = lulz
Bobby Andonov goes to my school. And no one would shut the fuck up about it! Im sick of Australia's got talent -_- Justice Crew were pretty cool though.
Pity votes, no doubt - but it was the right thing to do, voting him thru. Besides, I can't do that.
Yeah but he's flying it indoors where there isn't much wind.
THEY FOUND ME IN A BIN I NEVER KNEW MY REAL DAD I'VE ONLY EVER EATEN CAT FOOD WATCH ME DO THIS MUNDANE EVERYDAY TASK AND RATE HEARTS PLZZZZ This is why I hate all these shows. The people with talent never win, it's always the people with the biggest sob stories.
So no flashing lightwork in his act then?
Not everyone with epilepsy are affected by flashing lights. My mom got epilepsy and she isn't
I hate it when fucking generic singers win. Atleast this guy did something different.
What annoys me about this show is when they put through people who perform what they do professionally. It's their job on a daily basis so of course they're going to be amazing. Hell, why not bring Queen on stage while you're at it and have them win the whole thing.
I can't even fly a kite with wind.
To be fair I bet it's fairly hard to fly it indoors without any wind. But again, we get loads of crap going through on Britains got talent, some of them are just funny like Darth Jackson. Or my favourite act ever, the chopping wood guy. That song keep's getting stuck in my head. :frown:
The two best acts ever, no question about it.
