50 gigs of fish and doge
wow fish ai so cool attack dogs wow It can keep going forever like this.
I don't get his video series title outside of indie games. "WTF is Call of Duty" really? who is asking that question?
Nobody. That's why he doesnt say it this time like he always does. But you know maybe you should watch the video first instead of saying dumb shit? Anyway it looks like shit and it looked like shit when they announced it. Their whole "next gen" call of duty was a lie and a marketing gimmick for the "next gen" consoles. Also i had to turn off the video halfway because i was so bored with the gameplay. Why are the maps so small? Like god damn i know its a corridor shooter but still... Even cod2 had larger maps
The Metacritic user ratings for this game are lower than 3 as an average for all platforms. I think TB might be right. I know it's Metacritic but it's still a pretty good general indication.
Infinity Ward stopped caring about PC when mw2 came out when they dumbed down the game to matchmaking, removal of console and many other things. That was the time when cod started to go shit. Maybe ghosts will be the end of this series as it will never be as good as cod2 cod4 and WaW again.
To be fair, I still don't know what to think of Infinity Ward during MW2's time. They were pissy, exhausted, and tired of Activision's shit but did a lot of stupid, arrogant decisions that have haunted the series to this day in terms of the community and PC features. Then after most of IW left to form Respawn, the new IW's just been trying to play it super safe without much risk while not understanding what the original IW did or what Treyarch does that at least makes their (non-stressful) games good. Not to mention New!IW's pretty damn stupid. "We'd be playing it safe by not making Call of Duty, so we made Ghosts." :v:
Activision is about to kill what Treyarch could make great. They haven't learned from Guitar Hero.
I wonder if we'll have a repeat of censorship like what happened with "Garry's Incident." He really tears this game a new butthole.
I call the next "fad" for game companies is going to be games like Titanfall, I have a feeling that its going to be a good game, then EA will run it into the ground, and Activision will make their version of it, then the cycle of overmade game types will begin again!

If Battlefield 4 dominates this game, I can even half-expect them to try and copy Battlefield right back with vehicles or large maps and such.
Again, first minute of the video.
oops
Nobody. That's why he doesnt say it this time like he always does. But you know maybe you should watch the video first instead of saying dumb shit?
I don't like TB (so no) but that doesn't mean my comment was overtly critical or anything it was just a dumb little observation no need to get all up in arms over it the guy before me who said it (whom I didn't notice) isn't getting flak at all
Did this end up selling out GTA, like they had suggested? I really hope not.
IGN gave this a 8.8/10 ~surprises~
The Metacritic user ratings for this game are lower than 3 as an average for all platforms. I think TB might be right. I know it's Metacritic but it's still a pretty good general indication.
Eh, always a good chance it's just getting bombed negatively by people who don't own it, like a lot of other games. Generally I don't think most of the audience is very bothered because they want a quick instantly rewarding shooter.
I wonder if we'll have a repeat of censorship like what happened with "Garry's Incident." He really tears this game a new butthole.
I very much doubt they care, their primary market is console and console gamers, as a whole, don't care about a PC gamer criticizing the games multitude of PC-related issues
It looks so brown and washed out. I thought we were passed that. Blackops 2 was really colorful and nice to look at, while this just looks boring. I know graphics aren't everything, but it's all brown and dull, it just makes me want to fall asleep.
He's got a point about Treyarch. Their CoD games have always been better than IW's.
Not always, Call of Duty 3 was terrible, it had horrible gameplay and was buggy as fuck. Black Ops and Black Ops 2 were definitely better than MW2 and MW3.
the 50gb is probably that shitty 'technology' they boasted about that adds billions of unnecessary polys to everything.
World at War and Black OPs are arguably one of the best CoD games, obviously made by Treyarch. With Infinity Ward it feels like they really don't give a shit anymore.
How do you miss CoD 4 That was when Call of Duty started in it's modern era and set the bar.
If you have to play an MMS this year, you're better off with Battlefield 4 or sticking with Black Ops 2. Or alternatively you can play a real man's shooter like Shadow Warrior or Rise of the Triad, although Shadow Warrior doesn't have a multiplayer mode.
or you can play Insurgency or ArmA 3
I can't imagine why, there was nothing remotely promising about this game. Their specific highlights were dog models and moving fish.
I am still fucking baffled how they claimed that those were pinnacles of their next-gen innovation for this game and kept a straight face while claiming that. This game did that innovation before, and they didn't even prance around about that! : This game had both playable dogs (With the usual varied FPS arsenal of those times, like rocket launchers and fancy laser-related weaponry. And even jet packs. You read that right.) and advanced fish AI. Hell, fish reacted if you went into the water, you could even feed them with fish food, hell, you could even use them for target practice or feed them grenades to kill them, after which they went belly-up to the waters surface. The kicker? That game was released in 1999. On a 32 MB cartridge. On the Nintendo 64. If CoD: Ghosts in 2013 cannot manage fish dying and going belly-up to the surface, then they somehow managed to get out-innovated on their biggest points by a game from 1999. Let that just sink in for a bit. They managed to get out-innovated by a game that had been out for almost three years before their franchise even began!
The only reason im excited at the moment for my Prestige Edition is for its 1080p camera..
Wait, where the hell is Search and Destroy? I know they added another no respawn gamemode, but I didn't know it actually replaced S&D. Oh well, there goes the only gamemode I enjoyed in COD. it's not like I wanted to buy it, but it still makes me sad.

They replaced it with Search and Rescue, which is basically S&D but you drop Kill Confirmed dogtags when you die. If an ally secures the tags, you can respawn; if an enemy does instead, you're out for the rest of the round.
The good old days of COD 1, 2 and 4 with mods, even my personal favourite in 5.
World at War and Black OPs are arguably one of the best CoD games, obviously made by Treyarch. With Infinity Ward it feels like they really don't give a shit anymore.
After most of IW left after MW2 to make Titanfall, of course they would have trouble making any more new good games. That's why they needed a small studio (Sledgehammer) to help them with MW3 which became a mod of MW2. Their games aren't as good but they do have a significant disadvantage to Treyarch
I wonder if we'll have a repeat of censorship like what happened with "Garry's Incident." He really tears this game a new butthole.
They'll call it for all of the Cod's and get him banned from Youtube, destoying his career.
I know this is said over and over again, but I'm really disappointed in how far IW's fallen from Call of Duty 4. Guess I'll be waiting for it to go on sale, I'm only interested in in it for the singleplayer and split screen co-op now.

The take away about £10 from what I have seen. So it's still £30.
I find it pathetic that they still use the same fucking death animations from six years ago
why would they get rid of the emblem editor
IGN gave this a 8.8/10 ~surprises~
A 8.8 not a 10 or a 9.5? Clearly the Titan has fallen..
why would they get rid of the emblem editor
And theater mode.
