A wolf's psyche is almost nothing like a dog's. Dog's work on loose hierarchy and leadership. Wolf packs have very rigid hierarchy which means that every single person in the family must be superior to the wolf as far as dominance goes.

Wolf packs have very rigid hierarchy which means that every single person in the family must be superior to the wolf as far as dominance goes.[/QUOTE] Yeah I think owning a wolfdog hybrid uld be cool as hell if it wasn't for the fact that you basically need tons of open space for them to run/live around in, you'll have to prove your dominance to them, it will take years to train them to do anythi (not because they are dumb but because they are much more independant), etc. A wolf is very pack-like and the same thing is true for wolf dogs, but unlike normal dogs they see you as an equal/non-superior rather than a superior. I'm pretty sure I've heard stories of people owning wolfdogs having to deal with being "attacked" or trying to be out-dominated, and then the people would have to "come up on top" to earn the respect of the wolf dog :v: shit like that.
