Post ASOS Spoilers [sp]Akin to how Thoros revived Beric, Beric revived a waaay too far gone Catelyn because Thoros refused. This process truly killed Beric for the last time, but revived Catelyn. A fucking insane Catelyn.[/sp]
[sp]Big mistake imo, shes a bitch now, all vengeance no morals[/sp]
So while I was on vacation on an isolated island I finally kicked myself and continued reading ADWD (found it rather boring so I stopped earlier), and I finished it last night. A question (major ending spoilers):[sp]Who are those children hanging around Varys? Is it something I missed or don't we know yet? Any good speculations?[/sp]

[sp]His little birds. Know how to write but not how to read etc.[/sp]
They'd better remember Casso, King of Seals.
If they miss Casso out, I'm going to flip a shit.
Time to wait for season 3....
HGNGNNGNGNGNGNNNNNNNNNNN seriously, fuck time
Time to wait for season 3....
HGNGNNGNGNGNGNNNNNNNNNNN seriously, fuck time
I remember just watching the season 1 finale, and there was almost a year until season 2, the wait was unbearable. So I started reading the books. Then season 2 arrived, and I already knew everything that was going to happen, and as a result I wasn't nearly as hyped nor did I get the same satisfaction from watching it.
So I'm kinda torn, because reading the books has made me appreciate the universe a lot more and they are really good books, but it just doesn't match how ecstatic I was when watching the show.
I know a lot of stuff that happens in later books too, but still, it's not comparable to tv show that much. Watching that stuff happen on the screen is different than reading and imagining it and the tv show does some stuff differently. So I was still hyped.
Yeah I finished watching the show a week or two ago and I hear the books are awesome but I'm worried that I'll read them all then watch the show next year and all the twists and turns won't have the same effect because I'll know they're coming. I'm torn too.
Am I late?

Can't hit winner hard enough.
Also the filename.
Any more on Ramsay Snow? I'm re-watching misfits and Rheon seems really good for the role, he just needs to be less likeable.
Ramsay
Less likable
Unless you like flaying, rape, and necrophilia (usually included in the rape) then he shouldn't be any likable.
Dominic West turned down a role in Game of Thrones:

Most likely Mance Rayder.
God Damnit. GOD DAMNIT GOD DAMNIT.
He was my dude.

"I was offered something on 'Game of Thrones' and unfortunately, I hadn't seen it, but my nephew and his father said, 'Gosh, "Game of Thrones" is the only great show on!' And I felt terrible, because I'd just turned them down," West said.

Ramsay needs to be less likeable than Rheons previous roles
Just finished ASoS, what a book! Best book I've ever read, probably. Does it get better later? I mean, books 4 and 5 are that epic?

Not at all. They stoop to a low when it comes stuff happening.

Well they aren't the non-stop action of ASOS but they are still good books with a good deal of stuff happening. The first half of AFFC is slow I admit but the second half picks up nicely and ADWD I find to keep pace nicely with the bringing back of Jon Snow, Tyrion, Davos [sp]and Reek[/sp]

You would get the same turns it would just be in book form. Plus you can get much more detail about the characters in the show that you know and love (or hate)
I fucking hate my friend. All he does is spoil GoT for me.
We're sat watching series 1, me and two other friends. He comes in;
"[sp]Has Ned died yet?[/sp]" Fuck you Josh.
Did it again in series 2, now he's mentioning a spoiler I know of in Book 3.
[sp]Cat dying.[/sp] He asked me if I knew what happened. I threw out a wild guess, something to do with Joffrey or Stannis. [sp]Nah, she gets turned into a zombie.[/sp]
Fuck Josh, I didn't want you to tell me. God. Damn. It.

I must admit I do slip in a few spoilers by accident.
Like straight after season 2 a friend was talking about how much he hates Theon and I said [sp]"He gets really sympathatic in book 5."[/sp] apparently it was a major spoiler to him because he thought Theon had been killed.
your second sentence spoils it gj

Man my mom did that shit. I saw some trailers for GOT before and was interested in it because of Sean Bean. One night we were outside smoking and she asked if I had watched GOT yet. I said no but that I was interested in watching it because of Bean/008/Boromir. She said who is Sean Bean and I said he plays Eddard Stark aswell as what he looks like. She replies Ooh the guy that [sp]gets his head cut off[/sp] Man I was so shitty and I never watched GOT until season 2, which makes everything confusing as fuck.

FTFY
and you just did it then :v:
Anyway, I've read the books, and now I have nothing to fill the gap - I guess boardwalk empire will do when that's on

It was kind of spoiled when they released the casting list as well.
Alfie Allen is coming back and Ramasy is going to be casted.
Reading book 7 now. After 6 was really great with a lot of stuff happening, 7 is a bit of a letdown so far, I expected more changes up in the north.

Wow, A Dream of Spring is out already? George is working fast.
[editline]8th August 2012[/editline]
We just refer to the ones that are split as one book, makes it less confusing.
? There curently are 10 books available in Germany, I don't know about split. the translation would be "Time of Ravens"
A Game of Thrones
A Clash of Kings
A Storm of Swords
A Feast for Crows
A Dance with Dragons
Those are the books released so far.
I think... I think you may have accidentally started reading Harry Potter books after you finished the fifth one.
