I seriously love how the Iron Throne has 2000 dollar shipping.
I couldn't picture myself buying the throne even with the money, I would need an amazing throne room for it to feel right inside of.

It would be a beast custom toilet, then I could really sit on the throne.
So Humans vs. Zombies is starting up on campus, and predictably I managed to somehow get tagged as a zombie today (which is the first night it actually started up, go figure.)
Now, we have a bunch of different battle cries for the Zombies, most notably is "What do we want? Brains! When do we want them? Brains!" or "Oh Brain can you see..." And that one song by Jonathan Coultan.
ANYWAY, it was me and like 30 other people (out of 1k typically playing) and we were trying to get worked up for tonight's night mission, and as we were shouting different battlecries I bellowed, "What is dead may never die!" Now what followed was surprising, because like 4-6 guys (hard to tell) responded with, "But rises again, harder, stronger."
Total boner moment.

Haha.
I wish I was rich so I could buy this.
I'd get a nice home theater set up with a bunch of nice, comfy couches with my throne in the the back looking over everything.
Have Game of Thrones parties every Sunday.
Shit would be cash.

Where are Rhaeger's Rubies?
A minor loss, the horses aren't there either but I still love it. The colors are perfect.
[sp]This is where we put out tinfoil hats on and venture into the land of merlings and grumpkins. It's said when the first men first came to the Iron island they found a throne, the Seastone chair. Found on the shores of Old Wyk is was traditionally used by the first men as the seat of the king of the Iron Islanders. We know of only the children of the forest as the civilization to have first lived on Westeros before the first men so where did this throne come from? First lets look at the drowned god, the religion of the Iron Islanders, and the only religion to convert the faith of the Andals rather than succumb the them. The Ironborn serve a god as cruel as themselves, the Drowned God is believed to have brought flame from the sea and sailed the world with fire and sword, its eternal enemy called the Storm God, who resides in a hall within the clouds and ravens are his creatures. It is believed they have fought for a millennia. If we remember back to the Children of the forest, they called on their gods, to crash water upon the Arm of Dorne and upon the neck to stop the first men. They called a great Storm to help them in their first against their enemies. I would also like to mention that bran has green dreams of ravens. Ravens are a fundamental part of the childrens greenseer magics. If the Storm God is the God of the children of the forest what does that make the Drowned God. The religion of the Ironborn is too dissimilar to that of normal men to be of their own creation. They find value in death, their words What is dead may never die. Their practice of coming down from the north to reave and pillage to kill for what they believe to be of value, and steal women to make more soldiers. This is an eerie mirror to the others and their white walkers. The Ironborn have a saying, that when a man dies it's said that the Drowned God needed a strong oarsman. What if this is a folklore bastardization. And what they truly mean, is that the others need more soldiers, more dead men to bring back to life. Their words what is dead may never die speak to their belief that they will go on to reave and pillage beyond their death. That the drowned god will enlist them into his service. The pay the Iron Price. They do not barter, entreat, parley, or make peace. They kill and take what they believe to be their. The Others don't communicate with any other species either, they simply kill fight and take. Take the dead to convert to their unrelenting soldiers of death. GRRM has been quoted to say this about the others... 'The Others are not dead. They are strange, beautiful… think, oh… the Sidhe made of ice, something like that… a different sort of life… inhuman, elegant, dangerous.'* I believe that the first iron born were seduced by the others, we know from folk legend of the Night's King, that it is possible for their to A) There can be gendered others B) They can mate and copulate for the purpose of procreation. C) They steal the "soul" of those humans they mate with, turning them against themselves. We know for a fact this was the fate of the Night's King, but we could also speculate that the same was done to craster, as thus he lives to birth them more children as he is enthralled to the others and lives to service them. Perhaps the first men of the Iron Islands were controlled in such a fashion, to reave and rape and steal salt wives for the others, to create more and more Iron Born to steal more. However the Iron Born's contact with the Others stopped once the War of Dawn was lost and the wall was built to keep them back. It's imperative that we break our belief that the Others are creatures of evil, not only does this not fit with GRRM's beliefs but the history evidence we have does not support this belief.[/sp]
I think the most terrifying thing about all the gods is that, since each have some sort of true mystical power that exists, the religious clashes are all the more powerful.
This is scary because this means, potentially, fucking Cthulhu exists within the GoT universe.
Cthulhu is honestly the only reasons I don't travel to any area in the New England Region.

I don't remember the Seven doing any miracles, and the biggest trick I remember the Drowned God doing is giving Aeron Greyjoy the ability to drink saltwater without dying.
As far as I'm aware, the Many-Faced God, R'hllor and the Old Gods are the only ones that seem consistent in showing some sort of power.
What about (ASOS spoilers) [sp]that ship that saved Davos?[/sp] I'd say that was far too lucky to not be considered some sort of miracle.

the seven have no powers, nor the dothraki gods
some are just made up it seems
Could Varys be [sp]Unsullied?[/sp]
I ask because I came across a very interesting passage in aDwD where Grey Worm explains the practices of his group, specifically [sp]when they get their dicks chopped off, the removed members are thrown into a brazier for "The Great Mother" or something to that effect. Not only that, but Grey Worm got very uncomfortable talking about the ritual to Dany. Although I could attribute that to, you know, dick chopping, there's a possibility it's also due to strange shit going down during the ritual (which would line up with Varys discussing paralysis and demonic voices.)[/sp]

Whoa.
FUCK YEAH
i'm so happy they're actually going through with it
I'm glad they're still doing it, as it caused a vital change to [sp]his[/sp] character that would have been hard to justify without.
He might needed a hand during that scene?
I've gotta give a hand to Jaime Lannister, he might've been a douche in the beginning, but as time passed he got some real hand's on experience in becoming a better person. He can give himself a pat on the back for that one, he's become one of my favorite characters in the series, hands down.

[sp]he can do most of those things though because he still has a left hand [/sp]
The fan-fiction I've seen for GoT is truely terrifying :pwn:
