Oh man I remember finishing off the last current book of Ice & Fire months ago, any updates on the next one yet? [sp]I might have to re-read them, I just remember a bunch of characters being dead now.[/sp] -DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ ALL THE CURRENT BOOKS- [sp]Jon was killed wasn't he? I've forgotten.[/sp]
[sp]Jon was killed, but will probably either get rezzed by Melisandre or warg as an intelligent Ghost.[/sp]

Question concerning [sp]Melisandre[/sp] actually. Anyone else get the vibe she could actually be a [sp]reanimated corpse in the same vein as Beric Dondarrion? Unlike every other Red Priest we've met, she doesn't need to eat, sleep or find protection from the elements, nor does she apparently age. Who knows? Her wound could be hidden underneath that ruby necklace she wears all the time.[/sp]

What with the blood magic, the shadow assassins, and like you said, not needing sustenance. It'd make me think of Stannis differently, as he would technically be a necrophiliac. Kinda hope not though, she's hot and I'm not into dead bodies.[/sp]

[sp]Moquorro was stranded for at least a week and didn't die before being picked up by Victarion IIRC, and Mirri Maz Duur trained with the shadowbinders of Asshai and had powers similar to Mellisandre in the summoning shadows area. Mellisandre might be augmenting that which came from Rh'llor with shadowbinder spells, (she is Asshai'i) but I doubt that she died in the past and was revived. After all, she is described as very warm to the touch whilst Berric and Stoneheart are both mentioned to be cold IIRC.[/sp]
No since Mel would look [sp]dead. Dondarrion and Cat both rotted a little and had their wounds. I think this is just a case of how she has actual powers (even if she never understands them)[/sp] [editline]1st December 2012[/editline] My stomach is augmented
[sp]Cat rotted because she was under water for days, and was long dead by the time they picked her up[/sp]

First look at many of the new characters!
Thoros? and [sp]Brienne and Jaime's fight[/sp] at the end there [editline]2nd December 2012[/editline] Looks like he has one eye tho why is that (thoros) [editline]2nd December 2012[/editline] maybe they gave the flaming sword to beric [editline]2nd December 2012[/editline] Also Boltons at 1:38. Is Roose still the same actor? If he is he isn't in that shot (meaning it is some other Boltons) [editline]2nd December 2012[/editline] Wait woah Brienne, Jaime and Boltons? [sp]Varo maybe?[/sp] [editline]2nd December 2012[/editline] Also I guess his name is Locke not Hoat MAN LOOK AT ALL THESE EDITS
Tormund Giantsbane at 0:39

Yeah I just forgot he used the flaming sword after Thoros and him met. And his eye is supposed to be missing since [sp]that is how Gregor killed him the second time (second time Gregor got him, not second death)[/sp]
1:46 for hot Mance action
Was that Ser Edurme around 1:50? Didn't even look like he has red hair. And no beard. Wow. And who are those Boltons? Roose's actor looked a bit like Tywin's, if I remember correctly. Did they change it? Seriously if that's supposed to be Edmure Tully I'm going to have a hard time getting immersed. That can't have been Roose. Maybe Vargo, judging by Jaime and Brienne being there. Roose Bolton in season one;
Yeah it is him. None of the Tulleys have auburn hair in the TV series though
Yeah it is him. None of the Tulleys have auburn hair in the TV series though
That's kind of their defining feature though. I always go back to this artist, but I'm sure this is how most people saw Ser Edmure; [thumb]http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120213170037/iceandfire/images/e/ec/Edmure-tully-amoka-16493825a.jpg[/thumb] Plus don't Catelyn and Sansa have the standard Tully features? Lysa too?
No just Sansa Also that is Varo there in the lead (called Locke in the show) I'm guessing they have him aligned with the Boltons from the start to avoid confusion
No just Sansa
Hmm? Catelyn has auburn hair and blue eyes(Shit quality, I know). So does Lysa. Well, her's a lot more grey, but still.
No their hair is just plain brown
First look at many of the new characters!
I like how you see David Benioff at the start of the video, then the next time he appears he's covered in snow as if he's just been sat there while all the other clips were played. :v:
Three very quick shots in this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vunHGx-BZgw&t=1m41s
First look at many of the new characters!
Still gutted how they made Tyrion's battle-wound seem so small and insignificant. In the books, it clearly stated it made him look more monstrous. Would have been great if they added CGI or something to have a grizzly scar and a messy pit where the tip of his nose used to be. A shame they didn't make him look more grizzled, like the book describes him.

Tbh I kind of like the way Edmure is being portrayed and he is being played by the guy that played Brutus from Rome iirc, so we'll just have to wait an see.

But yeah, he did play Brutus, and was an amazing actor (With a kind of ridiculous death but whatever). If they end up giving Edmure much screen time I'm sure he'll knock it out of the park.

Plus Tyrion in the books is really really ugly to begin with, Peter isn't ugly at all.

I wouldn't want them to make Tyrion look as ugly as he is in the books (it'd just be uncomfortable), but to make him look more grizzled and scary would be nice. Seeing as in the books, his look came to his advantage at times.
