Drogon looks great.. has a really.. physical look to it? the CGI, if that makes sense.
and most of them have tyrion, love it
I developed a total dwarfcrush for Tyrion after reading the third book. Looking forward to the seconds series.
and most of them have tyrion, love it
He's the main character in Clash of Kings for sure.
Game of Thrones Universally acclaimed at Metacritic with a 93/100: http://www.metacritic.com/tv/game-of-thrones/season-2
About to embark upon a season 1 marathon with my friends tonight. Hopefully I can get some other people hooked on it. Just saw the critic that gave season 2 a 40...
Turns out it was something of a metaphor for the series itself. In the second-to-last episode last season, “Game of Thrones” in effect ate its own heart by killing off its main and most noble character, Ned Stark, who was played by Sean Bean, perhaps the best-known actor in this cast-of-thousands extravaganza. So the question for HBO as Season 2 begins on Sunday is this: Who is going to replace Ned as a focus of the series? The answer, at least four episodes in: no one.
Seems he doesn't understand that NED STARK ISN'T THE MAIN CHARACTER JESUS CHRIST HE ISN'T REALLY IMPORTANT PAST THE 2ND BOOK. Also doesn't grasp the fact that GoT is about a bunch of sideplots that are going to connect down the road.

It just infuriates me that season 2's metacritic will remain tarnished because some idiot didn't understand the show he was watching.
Every time I hear Joffrey's name I can't help thinking they are talking about this guy:

http://insidetv.ew.com/2012/03/30/game-of-thrones-showrunners-season-2/3/
Director Alan Taylor (who shot the pivotal Episode 9 and four episodes for season two) was snatched up to shoot the Thor sequel. Will you guys renew your contracts after season two? Benioff: We want to keep working on the show and they want to keep us working on it. So I feel like that’s not going to be an issue. We hope to keep going as long as we can, because we love it. Weiss: We went into this with the potentially over-ambitious notion that to get to the end we would have 70 or 80 hours of continuous, consistent film stories. I don’t know that anybody’s ever really done that before. We’d love to do it.
Looks like D&D envision 7-8 seasons (7 seasons if the last few seasons turn into 13 episode seasons)
Just a question, how many books are there and is the story over in book form?
Just a question, how many books are there and is the story over in book form?
There are 5 books released and 2 are to be released. Every book is covered by a season on the telly (some say book three will be split up in a two part season).
Bought and watched Season 1 last weekend, I am stoked for this to pick back up. Also, fuck Target and Best Buy. When Season 1 went on sale, it was $30. A couple weeks later, it had doubled to $60.
So it should be on websites such as Tvshack and Letmewatchthis, a day or two after the 1st april, that being when it airs??
I wish I had HBO so badly right now. I used to watch the show at my brother's but he's been so wrapped up in his personal life that he got rid of his cable.
How old is Beric Dondarrion supposed to be? I'm afraid to look it up anywhere else in case of spoilers, so I thought I'd ask someone here.
How old is Beric Dondarrion supposed to be? I'm afraid to look it up anywhere else in case of spoilers, so I thought I'd ask someone here.
About 24 years old at the end of Storm of Swords.
Oh, crap, I had an actor in mind for him, but he's in his 40s :v:
He already had an actor during season one
More of a featured extra. They usually recast small roles like that. Same with Rorge, Biter and Jaqen.
I hope they keep him. I liked the way he looked.
I'm really looking forward to her. I watch the show with my girlfriend and she always tells me how much Jon makes her think of me. When I was reading A Clash of Kings, I found myself picturing her when I read Ygritte's parts, even before (minor Storm of Swords spoiler) [sp]Jon and Ygritte's romance.[/sp] Basically I feel like it just kinda works out.
I smell role playing. I'm curious if they're going to show the battle between [sp]the night's watch and the white walkers/wights since they teased the horn being blown three times in a trailer.[/sp]

I get the feeling one of the last things we'll see in season two is Storm's prologue.
^Is that spoiler for book 2 or 3?
^Is that spoiler for book 2 or 3?
Three.
I have a sick feeling they'll save that for season three. Although flashbacks haven't been their style before.[/sp]
