Yeah they were kinda sorta also celebrating [sp]the death of Robb / defeat of the north at Joff's wedding[/sp] Could do it in episode 10 though and have it make sense
Yeah but the second one was weeks after the first one. I guess they could change it.
It was a few weeks, but I imagine a bit of time jiggery pokery can be done, I don't think much happens between the two events, though I've not read the books for a while.

So anyone else looking forward to the [sp]sam/gilly[/sp] sex scene Hope they put in all the weird ass milk squirting that was in the book
ASoS spoilers ahead: If [sp]Joff's wedding[/sp] isn't episode 10 then they're going to lose quite a bit of their viewers imo. Was Oberyn there though? They better not cut out Oberyn. Plus that would leave the entirety of [sp]Tyrion's trial[/sp] to the next season.
[sp]They're probably waiting till next season. They haven't cast Oberyn and I don't see how the plot could function if they cut him. [/sp] Also [sp]Oberyn is a badass. He's one of my favorite characters despite the short amount of time he's in the books. The scene between him and the mountain was the most intense and frightening fight scene I've ever read.[/sp]

Just read up that illyn paynes actor has pancreatic cancer. I'd post link but on iPod right now. Google it
Is there anywhere I can watch season 2? I'm midway through the third book and I want to at least start season 2 before I finish it.

I always thought that they should do the RW then cut to outside where shit is going down and then you see Ayra running and she turns around to see a club or whatever the Hound used coming at the screen. Then cut to black. And thats how they end season 3.[/sp] I think that would be such an epic way to end the season with so many characters ASOS[sp]dead or thought to be dead[/sp] it would drive all of the show watchers into a frenzy and probably drive up book sales like crazy.

Just finished the first season, but the second isn't released on DVD until February.
Just finished the first season, but the second isn't released on DVD until February.
And then HBO sits there and ponders why GoT is so pirated... Luckily my parents have HBO and I have HBO Go. Also my university gets HBO for some reason.
Guess who's back for season 3! https://twitter.com/rossmullan/status/292274259894620160

Nope. It was all real actors.

http://www.glasgowfilm.org/festival/whats_on/4858_game_of_thrones_screening_and_panel_discussion Cool, some of the cast & crew are introducing an episode screening of Blackwater and doing a Q&A session at this year's Glasgow Film Festival.
So much new stuff!
So I've never seen this before, but my dad's birthday is coming up and I was considering getting him the season 1 box set. I know he likes shows like Doctor Who, Stargate, Warehouse 13, and Merlin. I'm not sure if any of those shows have similarities with this one - do you think he'd like it?
Tyrion's nose looks shit. I dunno if that's already been noted, but I'm noting it now.
Tyrion's nose looks shit. I dunno if that's already been noted, but I'm noting it now.
It's either scars or nothing.
'scars' I mean I know a lot of shows won't want to do that, one for constant CGI and two for 'losing' some of that character, but even so, they could at least use make up to do a more prominent one, especially after how bandaged up he was at the end of S2
Or they could just really cut his nose off. It's called method acting Peter, deal with it.
HBO clearly has the money, most of boardwalk empires settings are CGI [editline]20th January 2013[/editline] I realise he isn't a setting, just more relevant

No but what I meant was that nearly every place is, which is still CGI, obviously not as hard, but I doubt money is an issue as people said early on
no money is an issue thats why they don't have huge battle scenes or a deformed midget
Uh, I don't see anything wrong with Tyrion's nose at all?
Uh, I don't see anything wrong with Tyrion's nose at all?
It's not supposed to be there. Then again Robb was supposed to marry a lady of a minor Westerland house so I guess an ever present nose is acceptable. And it really doesn't look that bad.
