It hadn't been renewed a week ago :)
The chances of that not happening after the debut were astronomical.
We should make a Sensationalist Headlines thread :)
Official news is official news... whatever.
No word about season 4, so I guess they won't shoot them back to back. They'll have to alter the ending of Part 1 or else it will feel very cut off. SoS part one spoiler: [sp]Jon riding off in the distance isn't very exciting.[/sp]
Has anyone wondered why Littlefinger's [sp]brothel and it's inhabitants are being featured a lot so far this season? I mean the baby stabbing was fair enough, but why did Littlefinger spend about 5 minutes threatening that whore because of her crying over the baby stabbing? Plotwise (from the book anyway) that scene had little purpose apart from to make Littlefinger out to be even slimier, but surely the whole Eddard betrayal and baby stabbing does that already? Maybe HBO is going to make the head whore have some kind of role in the plot, or maybe they're going to move Sansa's rescue to this season, and they're using scenes like this to make Littlefinger look evil so it's a bigger surprise when he helps Sansa[/sp] [sp]Or maybe it was an excuse for tits and ass on HBO's part and i'm overthinking it[/sp]
[sp]I love how Cassie (along with Chris) from Skins is in this.. and that tit from Misfits.[/sp]

Gendry and Arya have really good chemistry, and that after only one episode.

It was hardly a tit scene, or else there would have been, you know, actual sex.

wth, i'm pretty sure Stannis's daughter was in the episode, just after the [sp]burning of the seven[/sp] he indicates someone to come with him, it was dark but it looked like a young girl.

yeah it was his wife
Thought she was locked away in a tower
Thought she was locked away in a tower
Aren't you mistaking Balon's wife there?
I thought the locking away in a tower was done by Balor the Blessed years before A Game of Thrones. Though Balon's wife does live in a tower, and doesn't really leave it or want to leave it.

Hahah I love that guy, he is one of my favorite recurring characters for some reason.
Stannis the Mannis is the only true king of Westeros.
You know, I keep hearing about how Stannis is such a great character and all, but from what I've seen (not a lot I know, but it's enough) he's just kind of...meh. He hasn't really done anything yet, and he doesn't seem that great of a leader so far. Is there something I'm missing, or will his time come in the future?
If you're going by the show, he's pretty lame. What I like in him is that he's so unyielding. He doesn't even want the throne, but by law it belongs to him so he's going to have to take it. He never gives up, no matter how bad his situation becomes.

But trust me, you'll start to like him a lot as Season Two continues.
So far in the show the impression I have gotten from him is that he is a bit of a puppet. Hopefully he will get better but he seems to be falling for that woman's shit too easily at the moment.
Read all the books and still think he's kinda lame, but it's all down to personal opinion.
who cares, he got to bang that wilf(witch i like fucking)
