just realized that jorah is the lord commander's son (or at least relative)
I read straight through to Dance With Dragons and I didn't even realize it, until I re-read Book 1. The shit you miss when you don't carefully read. Wonder what else I missed.
wait, what does he mean by ship
its short for relationship.
Any fictional series with the terms. "ship" and "shipping" are used it means them, together.

I caught it when he mentioned his son in the show.

(book 5)[sp]Noticed how Bran seems to give visions and such through weirwoods throughout the series?[/sp]
Ever since I first read that Lord Commander Mormont's first name is Jeor, I can't take him seriously because it sounds like eeyore

Book 3-5 [sp] Remember when Jojen repeatedly said it's not his day to die?[/sp]
SO MANY SPOILERS IN THIS THREAD
I must resist clicking them. :<
I was debating GoT earlier today with a friend of mine. He's starting to like Joffry, which sickens me. I'm personally still hoping Jaime goes through some weird character development and becomes sort of a hero.
And goddammit I hope Cersei dies and I hope it's painful and drawn out.
Book 3-5 [sp] Remember when Jojen repeatedly said it's not his day to die?[/sp]
[sp]And how he stops saying it once they reach the cave, looks more depressed than usual, and finally pretty much disappears. And Bran is fed red paste that looks like blood.
Lets see if Jojen ever appears again.[/sp]
this is probably the best place for me to ask because I'm sure most of you have read the books so you understand the characters and plot development a whole lot better than I do.
who was that prostitute that littlefinger was scaring shitless in episode two? is she important or was that just to show that littlefinger's kind of an asshole?

Her name is Ros and she was introduced in season 1. She's basically just several prostitutes from the book turned into one character for the show. The scene was supposed to be about Littlefinger, yes.
Ah. That makes more sense...
god i hate cersei, they did a good job making her hateable
She's a new character created for the show. Pretty much used for exposition during sex scenes. She may get a more prominent role later on since I'd imagine she'll be replacing a book character who is related to brothels.
I was thinking, they've been doing a lot of unexpected things this season, and what if they do something really crazy such as putting [sp]red wedding[/sp] in this season? Or any other big moment? What if...

[sp]Don't worry, they aren't. In an interview with Richard Madden, he was talking about how much he's looking forward to filming that scene in the future.[/sp]

Nah. The show runners said they wanted to include two major events in season 3, so the (MAJOR SOS spoiler, well, only if you know the meaning) [sp]RW[/sp] is probably one of them.

Which is why I look forward to seasons 3 and 4, because in books 3 and 4 [sp]Cersei's POV chapters pretty much completely transform her into one of the protagonists, so at the end of FFC I was rooting for her and Jaime[/sp]
Ugh, had another major spoiler thrown at me on another site because someone forgot to use spoiler tags :(

Ah well, I once visited this thread on my phone and read about 7 spoilers in a glance before I could throw my phone through the room.

Ros exists in the books, but only when Tyrion gives the saddle to Bran does he talk with Theon about a red head who's worth every bit of gold.

Not really a spoiler: [sp]I don't see her as a protaganist, just a really evil person who views their decisions as right.[/sp] Major book 5 spoilers with some slight book 3 spoils.: [sp]A protaganist wouldn't condone bringing the mountain back to life. She's just a cunt, plain and simple. And Jaime is flat out an asshole. I mean, he rapes Cersei on their dad's tomb.[/sp]

Kinda harsh really, [sp]she didn't know that the mountain has been brought back to life, and anyway, that's just a theory, though likely[/sp] and as for Jaime, imo he is a good man, but proud and arrogant, [sp]he'd just got his hand removed, and it wasn't rape man[/sp]
Here's a question regarding Drogo (so series 1 spoilers) [sp]When he died, was that simply because of the infected wound or was it the witch who killed his son?[/sp]
Here's a question regarding Drogo (so series 1 spoilers) [sp]When he died, was that simply because of the infected wound or was it the witch who killed his son?[/sp]
[sp]His wound was infected, and wasn't treated due the the maegi's lies (fucking cunt), but it's debatable weather or not the bitch actually put something in the poultices and dressings that she gave him[/sp]

[sp]No she's still a bitch. Her PoV chapters make me hate her even more because you realise she's almost exactly as she appears, and she has little remorse for any of her actions. She just does whatever will better her and those closest to her. Jaime's turned into one of my favourite characters though. From book 3 onwards you can really tell that he's a good, honorable man.[/sp]
