I congratulate this show on making one of the most hate-able characters ever. Serious Joffrey has to be the biggest spoiled shit I've ever seen in a TV program.
I really hope that before they kill him there will be a nice long torture scene. He'd deserve every second of it.
About to watch S2 Episode 4, but my parents are in the vicinity. Any awkward sex scenes I should be aware of before I stick it on?

DON'T DO IT BRO

Oh god, I hope it's not too late :C
Ah so now I know where smokie from Lost came from.
Oh god what the fuck.
Oh sweet jesus
So far I wasn't disappointed and that applies to the latest episode, too. This episode though was the first time in the show I went WTF? at the end.
After watching this episode I've decided to become the new king slayer.
Joffrey is rather cruel in the series. Way more so compared to the books.
And the Mountain... I had hopes that the new actor might be a suitable replacement for Conan. But I cannot say I'm convinced.
I don't get why all of your are bothered by the "awkward" sex scenes. I watch Game of Thrones with my dad and neither of us give a shit if a prostitute is being fucked or if Theon has his cock out again because it's all part of the narrative.
On that note, I love how most of the sex scenes are just used for exposition. A lot of the sex scenes (especially when Petyr is present) are basically just character soliloquies; the whores are just filler really.

if you want some spoilers:
[sp]joff ends up marrying someone else and dies on his wedding night. poison makes it look like he choked on food but yeah... poison. he basically rips his own throat out though in an attempt to breathe[/sp]
I'm confused and aroused...
jesus christ what did I just watch
jesus christ what did I just watch
Daenerys went to Arrakis and we find out the origin of the Smoke Monster from LOST.
Woah jesus that came out of fuckin nowhere.

That's because you and your dad are both watching it, knowing at it is, why it's relivant etc
It's awkward for me sitting there watching it, and then my parents come home from work, walk through the living room and just see me watching 2 half naked dudes french kissing each other
As for the episode itself, ... wow.
I'm beginning to like Bronn more though and Tyrion is once again a clever little imp
Replacement for the Mountain is terrible, opening was tarnished by a really stupid fart joke, and Littlefinger's actor is really doing a terrible job with the role this season... what the hell happened? His accent and acting in general is just all over the place.
Other than those quips, it was probably the best episode of the season thus far.
Tywin's arrival at Harrenhal was just fantastic.
yeah i feel like littlefinger's accent has changed since season 1

watching the season 1 bit with the mountain he doesn't seem 8 fucking feet tall. he seems just a little taller than his brother. he seems a lot taller in season 2 but lankier

Yeah, but when you realize that The Hound is quite a big guy too, one realizes how tall Conan Stevens actually was.
One thing I was thinking of though, is that the Lannister armor that Clegane was wearing in that episode didn't have pauldrons - which is going to make him look smaller than he did before even if the actor himself might not be all that much.

I think the joke and the scene after was to make Lanister soldiers seem less like utter and complete totalitarian ass holes.

fuck yeah its not a game of thrones thread without the horse decapitation
huh, why did they end the episode 10 minutes early. they moved [sp]renlys death[/sp] to the start of the next episode?? that's dumb.

The [sp]shadow[/sp] is dramatic enough for a cliffhanger, so it sort of make sense. They don't want to cram too much into one episode.
Here's Rory McCann's (Sandor Clegane) Audition for the role

oh god why did I click that spoiler
I went to the wiki page before I'd watched the latest episoide and read that spoiler, and another one that wont happen till Season 4.
What is seen can not be unseen
Game of thrones is one of those series where the plot twists and turns every two minutes, so if you really want to stay spoiler free for the whole thing, I suggest a complete media blackout for the next 5-7 years.
You kinda have to read the books or deal with it.
Read the books because, with all due respect to this fantastic show, it is "A Song of Ice and Fire" for dummies.
so is ur mom
