Ron Perlman has to be cast as Victarion Greyjoy, HAS to. But if not that guy he'd be good as Areo Hotah, but I'd rather see him in a more prominent role.

Season two finale, "Valar Morghulis", will be 70 minutes long. That leg came off mighty easily
Just realised, is rains of Castamere [sp] Not only talking about the Tywin's victory, but also foreshadowing the fate of house Lannister? As they were both the same, therefore same ending? [/sp]
Yeah, maybe too easy. Also just now I noticed the weird blood splash coming into the screen when he finishes the guy.

well if you want to look for foreshadowing in that episode (book 3 spoilers kinda): [sp]tyrion adds weddings to varys' list of evil things[/sp]
That leg came off mighty easily
I only just noticed that someone threw a cup of blood over Tyrion after he planted his ax in the guy's chest.
Looks so bad when brightened and in slow motion :v: Fake axe sort of tap the leg and then it just tips over.
I was wondering why that episode was so dark, now I know why :v:
Oh god it looks like the black knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail like that, thanks for ruining that scene for me :<
To be honest I found it pretty unbelievable that he'd be able to cleave a mans leg off in one swing when I saw it any way. Still loved the episode though.
Here's Ser Ilyn Panye rocking away:
ser ilyn was a huge badass in episode 9 and all he did was stand there
ser ilyn was a huge badass in episode 9 and all he did was stand there
Yeah, he had some powerful lines

Last seasons best episode was the ninth and looks like it's going to be the same for this season.
Hope they leave the next major event (book reads know) in episode 8 just to throw people off.
Looks so bad when brightened and in slow motion :v: Fake axe sort of tap the leg and then it just tips over.
No shit, you think they would actually cut the guys leg off?
Hope they leave the next major event (book reads know) in episode 8 just to throw people off.
... episode 8? what?
No shit, you think they would actually cut the guys leg off?
No, I just wished it looked more believable. You really think that looks real at all?
... episode 8? what?
Season 3 episode 8.
No, I just wished it looked more believable. You really think that looks real at all? Season 3 episode 8.
It looks fine the first time you see it. You aren't really supposed to examine it closely.
It looks fine the first time you see it. I thought he just hit him in "the back of the knee" to make him fall backwards.
according to Wikipedia, Season 3 is just going to be the first half of Book 3.
according to Wikipedia, Season 3 is just going to be the first half of Book 3.
Does a lot happen in Book 3?
Does a lot happen in Book 3?
It's game of thrones, ramped up 500% percent more than usual.
