Since the last book's called A Dream of Spring I like to think the long winter will actually just blow over in a few months and everyone will be made to look like massive fools.
"dream" implies it's just that, a dream. Most likely something among the lines of the war is finally over but the realm is without food and the long winter will still last for years
Behind Jon Snow and Arya, Varys is easily one of my favorite characters. Unlike Baelish, who I think is a conniving and scheming cunt, I truly believe that Varys acts with the intentions of bettering the realm. Plus, his actor on the show really plays him well.
I have a feeling I may grow fond of Stannis.
I have a feeling I may grow fond of Stannis.
You will.
How big roll does Tyrion have the rest of the books/series?
thanks, just wondering cuz hes my favorit character after shark
I chuckled like a goddamned idiot when I realized you meant Stark instead of Shark.

Baelish is trying to better the realm in his own way, which is very different to the way that Varys does it. I really like Victarion Greyjoy and Stannis, along with Tyrion. (obviously) Victarion has only a few chapters, but it looks to be getting interesting after ADWD.
I just ordered the books, I know this type of thing has been discussed before but is the first book game of thrones season one, and the next book season two and it continues?
Yes. I think one of the actors said they're shooting Book 3 Part 1 and 2 back to back, starting May.

Think it was the actor playing Tywin Lannister. I'll see if I find the interview.
Think it was the actor playing Tywin Lannister. I'll see if I find the interview.
I think I had a bowel movement in excitement.
I think I had a bowel movement in excitement.
Well this should be gold. [editline]12th March 2012[/editline] actually, let's not get started with the puns

Oh cool, looks like Joffrey gets another slapping, I'll look forward to that.
Guess who got season one on blu ray
I'm sorry, I'm sorry... What? I know this post is in the stone-age, but, you'd say Robb ISN'T a badass? As a teen, he outwitted Tywin Lannister in every field battle he posed against him, crushed his armies, and claimed victory for the North? Come on, man.
Book 3 spoilers [sp]And yet who was alive at the end of it? Battles don't necessarily win a war.[/sp]
Doesn't change the fact that he's a badass. (Book 3 Spoilers) [sp]Tywin may have killed him and his army but he did it in a hugely dishonorable way. Robb was the better man, and a major badass at times.[/sp]

What's worse, killing someone at his uncle's wedding alongside a few thousand troops and end the war, or continuing the war for years, killing tens of thousands and destroying the Riverlands for good?[/sp]
[sp]Tywin did nothing, Frey did it to earn favour[/sp]
[sp]I thought there was something about letters between Frey and Tywin that suggested that he had a hand in it[/sp]
How to do spoilers? Dangit. /s test /s Shyet.
