The house of undying bit felt rather anticlimactic, I felt. Maybe they could have at least had some kind of dramatic dialogue, besides what felt like 'hiyer, drakonis.' *warlock dies*. But other than that I thought it was a really good finale and I miss it.
The House of The Undying scene was a rather large departure from the books.
We can just say that Quarth itself was a massive departure. :v:
I wonder if the skeleton warriors consumed the fat nightwatcher alive. I hope so, he was kinda annoying.

Her entire story is kind of messed up because of the age shift.
It was more about her loose of childhood innocence and how much her brother is a dick for forcing her into a position she was not ready/willing for. Its not really explained well in the show why she wants to take over Westeros as well.

I love it how in Season 2 Hound was like "Fuck everything" and just walked away. Especially the "Fuck the King" part.

Ahaha yeah I felt so fickle at that point. I was saying for the last few episodes "wow, the hound is such an unlikeable cunt," but then as soon as he says fuck the king, "I LOVE THE HOUND." I was sad to see Sansa didn't go with him, but I guess her being in King's Landing is itself a really interesting plot they could do a lot more with, yet.

I have a feeling that Hound is good deep inside, but he did not have a happy life at all and that made him into a grim, dark "I hate everything" kind of guy. But the fact that he offered Sansa help showed that he still has some good left in him but he is always treated bad by most of the people so he is just being twice as bad cause of it. At least that's what I think.

That was Blackwater, not the finale. :eng101:

How could she go with him? At all?
To Winterfell? Past the Armies/Brave Companions/General Scum?
Walking for probably a month or two, with one person for protection?

couldn't you ask exactly the same sorts of questions for pretty much all of the plotlines? it's not exactly outside the realms of possibility that they'd push the plot in that direction
if I can suspend my disbelief for the same of baby dragons I think i can suspend it enough to say sansa may have chosen to escape with the hound, what with the impending brutal rape etc

But everything happened has been realistic as defined by the world in the series. To have Sansa magically be un-harmed and transported to winterfell goes against everything.
She may have been raped had Stannis won, but she wouldn't have been killed.

Kings Landing to Winterfell took Robert and his.. group.. a month to go meet Ned, and they were on horses riding hard.

When there were no wars being fought, Westeros was peaceful, and they were accompanied by his Kingsguard.

To be fair, the King's Procession was huge.

Eh? It's been out for quite a while, hasn't it?

I'm not even saying she should magically transport to Winterfell! I'm just saying it was by no means out of the question for her to try to escape with the Hound. Why are you arguing so fiercely that this girl wouldn't have some very strong motivation for escaping the city:
-promised to an evil cunt of a king, probably heard about the whores.
-her father was executed for treason and she was made to watch (so she's basically a prisoner).
-for all she knows she'll be impregnated, and she's what, 13?
-the city is under siege; in the confusion she clearly wouldn't be thinking so rationally.
She has shitloads of stuff motivating her to leave King's Landing; you're being totally unreasonable by saying it's totally out of the question. I actually think its more interesting as a plot device for her to stay in King's Landing; I just just disappointed at the time.
Sansa is 17, and she wants to leave but she doesn't trust anybody.
