Tom was drafted by the New England Patriots in the 2000 NFL Draft, 139 overall. In the 2001 season being an underdog the Patriots won 11 of their games and Brady had a passer rating of 148 and had 2,800 passing yards with 18 TDs (4 more than Peyton Manning). Later that season Brady was selected to his first pro bowl. Brady threw for ~310 passing yards in his first ever playoff game against the Oakland Raiders. The played the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC championship and later they went on to win. After beating the Steelers they made it to the Superbowl. With the help of Brady of course. They beat the Rams 17 - 20, Brady also threw the game winning TD. Brady has gone to 4 pro bowls, 4 Superbowls only winning 3 of them, and has won 3 AP NFL MVPs and all offensive player of the year awards. Right now I would have to say he's the QB in the league, right next to Breezy.
Fun facts: Tom Brady was selected by the Montreal Expos to be a catcher.
Tom Brady was described at the "greatest steal in the NFL Draft".

Barry Sanders is probably one of the best tailbacks to play the game, even though he always went down without a fight like Reggie Bush he can put the "moves" to evade the tackles and get a first down and extra yardage sometimes even a TD. Barry's 10 pro-bowls and 6 all pro selections puts him in the Top 5 of elite running backs. For his full career he played for the Detroit Lions, he holds 10 Detroit Lions franchise records and 34 NCAA records whom he set with Oklahoma State. With his College Career in Oklahoma State he earned himself the 1988 Heisman Trophy and was ranked the 2 best player in college football. In the 1997 football season he shared his NFL MVP with Brett Favre. However, Barry wasn't much of the FB often getting brought down by 1 man. In my opinion, he's the 3rd best player in the history of the NFL. (2 Dan Marino 1 Brett Favre). If you haven't seen this man play, you should it's almost a requirement for yourself to be a football fan. Barry has an off spree, Barry Sanders Jr who also plays the RB position, maybe we'll see another great RB to play the game. :raise:

I just want to open some discussion on the point that I have played rugby myself, and regardless of what anyone says to defend it, rugby players [i]do not[/i] hit nearly as hard as in football. If football is for pussies and the pads really work that well, then they shouldn't be breaking bones, but they do.
