Wait seriously?
Walter Payton?
Deion Sanders?
Jerry Rice?
Ronnie Lott?
I could keep going on and on...
EDIT: Also for the Steelers article you should probably mention the Steel Curtain... I mean they are considered the dynasty of the 1970's.
So what you except me to write articles on everyone who I haven't mentioned? I'm almost done with the T.O. one though.
Many fantastic/fabulous football players have known to have been very polite.
10. Terrell Ownes of the Buffalo Bills

Terrell Owens, or T.O. by fans, is a 6 time pro bowler and a WR currently playing for the Buffalo Bills, and is probably one of the best WRs of his era. He was drafted by the 49ers in the '96 draft. Even though is quite the trouble maker that doesn't make him any less of a great player especially when he had 15 TDs in the '07. That's almost a TD a game(:downs:)! His experience is also what makes him a great player, seasons in the NFL. Speed is another factor of his game, sometimes "blowing out" the CB covering him. I would also like to say that in my opinion he's the best WR right now, or close to it. The Bills are the AFC wild card winners, book it.
Fun fact: Owens could of played in the NCAA Men's Basketball tourney.

Not your typical fullback. Standing 5'11", weighing in at 185lbs, this guy isn't quite your standard fullback build. What he is lacking in size, he makes up for with his ridiculous speed. Linebackers don't know what to do when a fullback is rocketing up the middle of the field with a 4.5 second 40 yard dash. The very first play he went in on Varsity turned into a 54 yard touchdown, something you rarely get out of a 31-trap play. When he isn't in at fullback, he's playing linebacker or defensive end on the other side of the ball. On special occasions, he plays receiver and tight end. Versatile as fuck.
Ahhh, I'm just playing around, haha. The numbers and stuff are true (the 40, the 54 yard touchdown and stuff) but I'm just fucking around, I'm not that full of myself, lol. I didn't dominate the field every game but I like to think I was a pretty formidable player.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the Miami Dolphins the only franchise to go undefeated and win a superbowl?

Yessir. The Patriots came damn close but they choked hard.
Yeah, I'm glad though. Not a Patriots fan. Also I'm a Floridian, so yeah.
My favorite NFL team (don't laugh), is probably the Jacksonville Jaguars. I know they aren't good, but I just like em. Don't know why.
I loved that the Giants won. I'm not a Giants fan but I'm more of a Giants fan than a Patriots fan.
My team will always be the Cowboys. They've been struggling a bit lately but they will always be Americas Team.
I might have to start watching Minnesota since they got Percy now. Weren't they supposed to get Brett Favre, but he declined saying he didn't wanna go through the grind of another season or something?
Can I get a "fuck the patriots"
O.J. SIMPSON is tah best player ever. Both in the field, and outside the field.

hahhaahahahahh!! hilarious!! i get it!!! 10/10!! :fuckyou: :fuckyou:
I personally would have rather had the Patriots win than the Giants. I don't like the Patriots, but the Giants didn't really deserve to win.

I am curious (and looking for actual experience) how long does an average American football game last? I mean how much of your day do you have to set aside to watch a game?

The actual game is 1 hour, but 3 hours with half time commercials etc etc
I am curious (and looking for actual experience) how long does an average American football game last? I mean how much of your day do you have to set aside to watch a game?
Probably 2 hours per game.
1 hour or so.
I have never seen a professional football game last only an hour.
Thank you both for quick answers!

ummmmm u will have to excuse me for a moment
Well the actual game is 1 hour.
His question was how much time you need to set aside for the game, so counting all the timeouts, commercials, time between plays, halftime, it is more like 2 hours.

Why is it called football if you have the ball in your hands 90% of the time?
