been roughly a week since my last weighing, so decided to give it another go now.
194 pounds! making progress I feel!
Nice job, dude. Keep up the good work and keep us posted! :)
No idea what the hell i'm doing with lifitng. I was stronger a year ago, in high school. I thought division 1 programs had good lifting programs. fml.
idk probably has something to do with you getting drunk and high like thrice as much as you used to and not lifting bro u fat fuck
monday is here again and I'm still at 194 pounds. hmm, gotta admit I haven't been very careful this week. at least I didn't gain anything so will be more careful this week.
Yeah, shit happens. I had a bit of a blunder earlier on in the week with my numbers but they ended up fine - Keep your chin up and you'll be golden. As long as you realize that you can do a better job next time, that's all that matters for this week.

It's not a race, sometimes the food is good mang, as long as you dont make that an every week occurrence and fall back into your old ways.
The ultimate exercise is Dance Dance Revolution/Stepmania.
I really want to buy a dance mat and give it a go but I'll be living in a dorm soon, it might be slightly embarrassing as well as annoying to the neighbours.
weighing day is here, and I'm at 192 pounds! 2 pounds loss, woo!
Nice job dude! Feeling sexy yet?
Nice job dude! Feeling sexy yet?
can't really see any change myself, but my mother told me she sees it in my face which is a good thing! really helps the mental image of myself though, yay
nice man. compliments are the best. you are taking progress pics, right? :)
nice man. compliments are the best. you are taking progress pics, right? :)
nope :(
probably not too late considering I've only lost 8 pounds so far though
Should start taking progress pics, it's easier for all of us to make out the differences and see some that you might not see yourself. We get plenty of pics from sexy sweaty males and never judge yo.
it'd be fun, but I'm not really that confident in posting pics right now considering it's publicly available. would be fun to post a before / after pic once I get that far though!
Don't have to show yo face.
Well I wasn't saying you'd need to post them haha, but as long as you keep record - I've been taking 1 a month front and side and just tossing them on my dropbox with the weight I was that day.
Heig's right though, nobody has any right to give two shits what you look like. It's the effort you are making that is important and if you did post them, everyone else would see that effort paying off.
I'm the skinniest most pathetic fuck here and I posted pictures. I can promise you're not as pathetic as I am currently.
Hopping on this progress train before it leaves the station.
First off, good job on your losses Pred and SGTN, keep it up gentlemen.
I've got the motivation, and the means, I just need a few tips!
So since new years ive cut down on soda from 1-2 a day to 2 a week. Super proud about that.
Ive biked 3 times a week, except when i was sick for a week.
And now i need some help with dieting. Main problem is i don't eat breakfast.
I plan on boiling an egg for every day of the week this coming sunday, but I am having a hard time finding something to go with that.
Any suggestions on a protein bar or snack bar that's low in calorie count?
Also, should i be snacking in between lunch and dinner if i have been only eating half portions?
Nature Valley Protein Bars are 190 cals each... Usually Zone Perfect Bars are about 190 to 210. These are my favorite brands. Haven't had a problem with any flavor from Zone (I prefer double dark chocolate) but I always get the Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor from Nature Valley.
Pricewise, you'll get a box of 10 NV bars for $6, while you'll get a box of 5 Zone bars for $5~. Really depends on how often you're having them, I usually get a box of Zone bars every two weeks as a treat. :)
I'd say if you're looking to put something between meals, just do it if you feel like you could use something in your stomach... Let me tell you my schedule and maybe it'll help you out a bit.
I wake up around 10am to 11am and don't normally eat anything over 100 calories, i'll usually have an apple because my body doesn't handle food well in the morning. If i'm hungry, i'll have something with the apple like string cheese. I leave for work at 2:30pm and get home from work at 11:30pm. I usually get in 1600 to 1800 calories in at work depending on what's going on. To be more specific, I have a protein shake that I just sip on from 3 to 7, have some yogurt and fruit usually at 7, and eat dinner at 8:30 and i'm plenty full until I leave. Then when i'm home, i'll have a protein bar around 12:30am or 1am and I go to bed around 2:30am. All the while, I usually have a cup of water in the morning, 5 cups at work, and 2 cups at night.
Generally, this is what my food looks like - http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/Abnersama?date=2014-02-18 but i'll have a week here and there where I do actually eat in the morning and just eat less later on.
Damn thank you so much. That is exactly the information i was looking for.
I will buy a box of the nature valley bars and see how that + boiled egg goes.
I'm not a morning person either, but i eat a late lunch usually so ill be eating this morning snack at about 9:30-10:00, and lunch at 12:30.
I really don't experience hunger in between lunch and dinner, so i guess i was just asking for nutrition purposes.
Again, thanks a bunch.
No problem dude. They're totally worth it. If you've got a Walmart nearby you, that's where I get mine for that price. Everyone else has them marked up a shitton.

speaking of snack bars, consider these
Each bar costs about 60 cents and contains:
260 calories
35g protein
21g carbs
15% calories from good fat
I think I'm going to hop on this for some motivation and tips.
Looking to loose some bellyfat and I've heard it's the last part that goes.
I do have a gym membership and I was just wondering when starting off if you guys have a regime or just do a little bit of everything? I wanted to improve my cardio before I started doing serious stuff.
I have been lifting weights and it's awesome to see your muscles grow!
Eat less food, follow something like 5x5 Stronglift. Nothing more has to be said, that's pretty much it. Also yeah, belly fat is usually the last one to go, you also won't be gaining any muscles if you're looking to lose your belly fat, just a heads up.
I'm switching things up a bit today and drinking my shake right before I leave for work instead of sipping on it throughout the day - Tired of constantly having to wash my mix bottles because lazy.
On another note... This whey I have now isn't mixing worth a shit. It's the same brand and flavor i've been using (Six Star Nutrition, Triple Chocolate Flavor), so I don't get why... I'm going to double check the expiration date when I go downstairs and hope I didn't just get something that was old/nearing it's last days. Any ideas/opinions on whey brands guys? I'm heading to Walmart later tonight so if they have a brand you guys use, i'll give it a go.
Gold Standard from Optimum Nutrition is generally a really good choice. I personally use Red X Lab protein because there's this promotion and I got one for free but yeah, from experience the brands at places like Walmart are crappy brands, not that it means anything as far as protein goes but in flavor, taste and mixability, you can definitely get better.
I recommend ordering your proton or going to a supplement store, if you go to a supplement store, just don't let the guy sell you shit you don't need, go there for what you need and if he suggest you anything, say you'll think about it and ask us here if it's worth it.
Generally, protein and creatine are worth it, anything else is worthless and a waste of money.
Gotcha. I'll see, maybe i'll check around online then and check out those two... I get out of work at 11PM so I can't imagine I would be able to get to a store that would have anything like that before they close.
I know my pal orders off of BodyBuilding, so I could hop on there sometime. I've seen them offer free stuff for bigger purchases which is nice. Any other sites you order your shit from?
I've tried creatine before, but i'm not actually going to the gym or anything - If i'm not wrong, it's mainly used to keep water in the muscles to make them look fuller, yeah? I'm just really using whey to hit my numbers every day. Don't think I could fit enough protein into my day otherwise, lol.
The water is actually turned into ATP, the fuel used by the muscle for quick contractions so you can do 2-3 more reps in your set and because you're able to push your muscle a bit more, you'll also grow more. It's more than to just look fuller.
Also what do you need protein for if you don't work out? Unless you eat pasta every meals, for the average person, you really don't need much protein at all.
Gotcha. Yeah, it sounds like something i'd be using in the future then. The shit my friend had tasted like fruit punch, I don't remember the brand name but man was it good.
I had actually just tried it out since I planned on going to the gym eventually and wanted to see if I liked that kind of drink, and it ended up just sticking. It's easier for me because I have a hard time keeping solid shit down in the earlier part of the day without feeling like shit.
back to monday, and I'm currently 194 pounds.
2 pounds gain, which sucks. I didn't weigh myself as soon as I woke up though, I weighed myself after downing a big glass of water and eating two portions of dinner so the numbers might lie. I'll weigh myself again tomorrow when I wake up just to be sure
