so morning is here, and I'm at 193 pounds. well it's still a pound gained, but it's better than 2 pounds gained.
yeah that's kinda why I just weigh myself any day I have time in the morning after going to the bathroom. it's all over the place, so this morning if you didn't weigh yourself you may have had progress in numbers but, it's all good dude. keep at it.
yeah, you're gonna fluctuate wildly. you're gonna have to look at the long term.
I'm late to the party but I use XPI Myotein as my whey. It has micellar casein in it too, shits great. tastes good too :v:.
After this lifting comp I'm doing, Im probably gonna get me some creatine so I'll keep you guys looking into it updated as to how its working out. and Heigou, water isnt made into ATP, water is split and the hydrogen ions are used to power the enzyme to make ATP :v:
the more you know~~
How big are these XPI Myotein tubs, they seem overpriced for 26 servings (I assume it's that, they don't say shit on their website). Are they like 5 pounds?
I know water isn't directly made into ATP but there's not really any reasons to go in details.
A tub lasts me ~a month doing 4 scoops into a shake twice a day. Shits gotten me heug tho, so idk :v:

the reccommended serving size is 2 scoops. If you do 2 scoops per shake you should get way more than 26 servings out of it.
60$ a month horee sheetto, that's more than preworkouts and preworkouts are fucking expensive already. Is there not any cheaper alternatives?
Its probably so expensive because of its ~versitility~~~. Gold Standard whey is cheaper, but iirc it only has whey isolate, whereas myotein has hydrolysate, isolate, concentrate, and casein too. If you went with gold standard and wanted casein on top of that(shits amazing for getting big, slow digestion works wonders overnight), you'd have to buy a tub of micellar casein on top of the whey. With myotein, its all there already.
But it's all useless though, casein has been proven to not do anything more than simple whey protein and you're throwing money out the window because you believed in all the buzzwords that the supplement industry fed you.
As long as you're getting protein with a complete amino acid profile (Pretty much any meat/milk/eggs protein), you have everything you will ever want.
Nope. Casein forms a sort of fibrous 'clot' in your stomach which takes a long time for your body to digest, creating a long, sustained release of protein into your system, which is beneficial overnight when your body can use a slow, sustained release of protein to rebuild your mussels
It's unnecessary though, won't provide any benefits over whey, your muscles will repair themselves even if you don't have casein shitting up your stomach and digestion system as you try to sleep.
i havent seen any clinical proof yet that has shown that meal timing matters for protein intake.
Because it doesnt

The supplement industry just wants to feed you that it does because they want to line their pockets and some people believe their buzzwords.
A-are you a supplement hippie?
'Don't let the supplement industry keep you from seeing the truth, maaaaaaaannn'
I'm not a hippie, I'm just saying you shouldn't waste your money on buzzwords when in reality they're all the same shit, up to you though, I don't mind, as long as you don't feed that misinformation to other people.
It was a joke :v:
But really though, I used gold standard for a good while, and I'm seeing way better results with myotein so I'll just keep on using it.
monday is here again, and made my day a little worse as I'm now 194 pounds. ughh, I think I might need to calm down a little on what I consume so I can actually go down a single pound instead of one up every week.
don't worry about it bud. that's why i weigh myself so much, lol. those numbers just go all over the place.
make sure you try to realize that the number is just there to help you get an idea, it's not an absolute, of how you're doing - it might be up, but maybe you're feeling better, able to do more, etc. if you feel like you've made too much room, definitely cut back a little bit on what you're taking in. don't remember if you are tracking everything religiously or not, but maybe you might want to for a few days to get a better feel of what you really need and what you can get rid of?
196 pounds today.
slowly going back to my starting point, definitely need to change something around!
Fluctuations dude
Here's my libra screenshot for example

(sorry for the lang)
Over 2 weeks it has been fluctuating wildly between 90 and 86 kg but overall it is decreasing
so don't worry and keep eating healthy things
those fluctuations really makes it feel like I'm going back to my starting point ugh.
anyway, weighed myself today and I'm at 195 pounds! so now we're going downwards again, woo
Told ya
haven't been here for a while now, forgot last week, oops.
currently at 196 pounds. lets hope for something better next week
Remember brah, ain't no Marathon, if you make one definitive step toward your goal every day, even if you haven't lost a pound that week, it's all good. You're still progressing.
Pred! Keep up the good work, man!
Damn posted his chart, so i'll post mine too so you can see how i've been coming along as well. I wouldn't really call it a plateau since weight's been coming off after just over a week, so. :) This is from the last 30 days.

For loosing weight, Firstly Maintain Well-stander lifestyles, Including various kind of activities like as a physical work-out, yoga, jogging, circuits training, cross fitness training, playing different kind of sports.Controls food habits, Eat good nutrition diets, drink plenty amount of water, cut-off junk food, beer etc.
think I'll start over next week (in a sense) considering I've fallen out of my habits again. or rather, I'll shape up from now on! I've been thinking of using an app or a program (something which syncs between PC and phone preferably) to keep the motivation up. any good ones?
also, I know that softdrinks are bad when it comes to weight loss, but the research I've done on it is that the sugar is bad, not the other stuff when it comes to weight loss. so my question is, is Pepsi Max okay? I'm addicted to caffeine and going without it for extended times is literally unbearable for me. as far as I know, Pepsi Max doesn't really affect weight loss progress either since it has such a low amount of calories and no sugar. no clue if caffeine affects progress, but I don't think it does?
Soft drinks makes losing weight difficult because there's so muc sugar (and thus calories) so densely packed into that little can that ultimately it has a shitton of calories for something that's not filling at all, they're also empty calories because you're not getting anything good out of them, no vitamins, no proteins, no fats and the (arguably) more useless of the 3 macronutrients.
Pepsi Max with 0 calories will be fine, you will not be getting any weight gain at all considering it has 0 calories, however it's best to still keep the consumption low, the sugar replacement that's usually used is still an iffy subject and some researches points to them not being so good for your health.
If you absolutely need the caffeine, just drink coffee or take a caffeine tablet or something.
monday weighing, and I'm at 198 pounds.
having some issues with the food as well. I've noticed that I tend to eat a lot more, especially lately just out of sheer boredom. what are some things I can do to keep my mind off of food?
