Yeah I'm not exactly sure how or when in the timeline they're going to do these things. They COULD do it now, after the movie, seeing as [sp]Andy left ALL of them to Bonnie[/sp] also in the game, in the menu, you hear all of the main toys from Andy and Bonnie's toys, which could be a subtle hint of some kind (or not who knows)
Dear god I hope you're right. It's kinda sad it's ended now. I mean if Pixar can tell a good story from where Toy Story 3 ended no doubt everyone would want to see that. And I'm not asking for a sequel like next summer. It could be another few years from now and I would still be interested as long as it's well made and fits well. I think going with the shorts are a good idea though. They don't want the audience to wait for a full sequel and see [sp]bonnie grow up[/sp] so rather show what it's like before that time comes. But if a full fledged Toy Story 4 comes out I'd be REALLY REALLY REALLY happy.
So what's the reason that us UK folk can't see this for a MONTH. A WHOLE MONTH.

"Need some help over here."
I heard Newt was postponed for their creative teams to focus on other projects such as Brave, Monsters Inc. 2 and Cars 2. I guess there is hope that Newt isn't cancelled with what you said Postal. Anyways, back to Toy Story. Anyone remember the PS1 game for Toy Story 2? I used to play the shit out of that.
Holy Shit!!! I still have it and I think I'm gonna play it. I also cried 3 times watching the 3rd one today.
Saw it on Saturday. Amazing film. When I wasn't laughing, I was close to tears. Pixar, you've done it again. Also, the only Pixar reference I saw in the film was the Buy n Large batteries that Buzz had in him.
I saw it yesterday, bloody amazing movie! Leave it to Pixar to end the best animated trilogy of all time. Toy Story is their baby! This had the perfect blend of comedy, suspense, drama and what-not....rarely has a feat like this been accomplished, that too in an ANIMATED film. Also, 85% of the audience was adults and college kids; I saw about 4-5 actual "kids". And most of those adults were in tears during the final scene. Just out of curiosity, was there anything after the credits? I didn't stick around after the little video at the end.
Boo is at the bottom left. I posted this in the other thread, but I'll post it here in case anyone missed it. OP is it possible to put a Easter Egg section or something?
Well yes, Monsters Inc 2. Pixar confirmed this a couple months ago: http://movies.ign.com/articles/108/1085655p1.html http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/2010/apr/23/monsters-inc-2 Cars-2 in 2011 and Monsters-2 in 2012. Pixar has already defined themselves as the sequel-masters, so this is no surprise to me.
Just out of curiosity, was there anything after the credits? I didn't stick around after the little video at the end.
There was nothing after the credits. I stayed through them. I'll go see Cars 2 just to see that Toy Story short in the beginning.
I loved the shorts before the movies. And Cars wasn't that bad, folks.
I can't wait, I'm seeing this movie pretty soon.
One of the best series of movies ever. Toy Story 3 was amazing and one of my favourite movies to date.
Holy Shit!!! I still have it and I think I'm gonna play it. I also cried 3 times watching the 3rd one today.
I fuckin cried so hard man...so hard. Fuck...
Watched toy story 1 and 2 again, then watched toy story 3. I've been a bit disappointed by how the graphics and animations of the two first episodes got badly old, but it was so damn good to watch again the films with more cleverness and sense of humor than when I saw them for the first time (watched both two episodes almost at the same time, like in 98 and 99), because there are a lot of hidden references that you just can't get as a kid. I preferred a lot toy story 1, I found TS 2 too... I don't known, just too long and forced in a lot of moments. Toy Story 3 was awesome, it gives a real ending to this awesome series and managed to make me drop a little tear. I've just been a bit disappointed how much characters disappeared from TS 2 to 3 (but, heh, 11 years passed so yeah). I've also been really good surprised how much that third episode was turned toward the "old" audience, the generation who grew up with the first two episodes, with a lot of references to TS 1 and 2, and maybe scenes than can sometimes be a bit more mature ([sp]the incinerator scene[/sp]). Really hope the Toy Story license isn't completely dead after that, and I really would like to see Buzz and Woody again in some shorts or as easter eggs (like in monsters inc. or finding nemo). And so much scenes in TS 1 and 2 were creeping me out when I was a kid...
I cannot wait to see TS3 next week!
I just watched Toy Story in Blu-ray. Next up is Toy Story 2 and then I'm gonna go see Toy Story 3 in the theater.
