How it works is, you earn 1000 points by doing various things (there aren't many now, but as the community grows they add more), and at certain times (again, depending on the number of members in the community), a button shows up on the top of your points bar.
First one to press the button gets to pick a prize, like a PS3, Wii, iPad, iPhone 3GS, XBox 360, the like.
