So I was giving out all my hats in TF2 and I won Brink preorder in a raffle.
IT MUST BE KARMA GUYS.
No. A magical undetectable force can not alter the universe in drastic ways based on whether you're nice or not.
great poll idiot. didn't they ever teach you how to make a questionnaire at school?
according to you, everyone either believes it ENTIRELY, WITHOUT DOUBTS.
or not at all.
not even options for "i'm not sure" or "somewhat"
I'd rather not but my name is Earl
Not in a supernatural sense, it's just practical that if you do good things, it's more likely people will treat you better in general.
Social karma makes sense but some mystic force doing bad to those who do bad is croc of shite.
Karma = Do shit, get shit. Do good shit, get rewards.
But remember sometimes life just is a bitch.
I don't believe in it, but I find it rewarding if you behave as though it does.
no
i try hard not to be a dick to people and they just shove it back at me
It's based on the people around you. If you're a guy who helps out and maybe sends a few gifts now and then, people are more likely to respond to that person positively. If you're a person who runs around kicking old people in the groin, shitting on doorsteps and throwing somebody's laptop down the stairs, people will tend to respond to that person less positively.
If you're around a group of mindless drones, then karma doesn't exist. If you're around regular people, then some form of karma exists.
Where's the "I kind of believe in it" option? I don't believe in it to it's fullest, but don't think it's complete bullshit either.
Karma isn't real, interpersonal actions are.
You shit on someones head, they're gonna give you shit for it, that's not karma, that's just common sense.
no, Its all perception.
And what the fuck dictates whether someone is "regular" or not? Your huge ego?
"I'm better than these people. They're all 'mindless drones'"
it was an example, he wasn't calling the entire human race a bunch of mindless drones
No, it's a croc of sh

Pahahah
I believe in social Karma. Since a lot of things that happen in this world are byproducts of human decisions, having a good "Karma" will lead to people generally trying to make sure their decisions benefit or at least don't damage you. Also doing good usually makes people feel good, which leads to good mood, which leads to less stress, which can lower the chances of things like a car crash significantly.
Karma is merely a platform that some people rely on to stop themselves being dickheads to everyone.
Anyone with an ounce of empathy and common sense doesn't waste time with notions like 'Karma'.
An invisible force completely incoherent with the universe which manifests itself only on humans, based on ethical factors of different actions. I wonder what they'd call the particles.. ethions, moralions, morons perhaps?
No, I don't think so.
Admirable first post, sir
The government of America still hasn't been hit by a falling piano so I guess karma doesn't work.
Karma is fully real, but it is not some metaphysical thing. I'm sure you all experince karma everyday, espically in everyday situations and when interacting with other people.
If karma is real then I must have done some pretty fucked up shit in a past life.
Spoiler: You were hitler.
No proof of karma and if karma were real you would not see starving Africans or rich bankers. Also there is no real "evil" its all environment so karma is impossible.

prove it.
There are perfectly good people who died horrible deaths or live in horrible conditions.
There have been scores of oppressive leaders who live to a ripe age and die without any of their actions judged.
Karma is bullshit.
I was thinking about this recently' I never really believed in karma, but I decided to test it out. I won't tell you what I did, but it's supposed to need up with me receiving bad karma. So who here all believes in karma?
Your username....
Oh god...
Karma would be nice if it existed, but unfortunately people don't get what they deserve, they get what they're given.
It's bullshit, everything you do depends on what you do. And a little bit of luck sometimes.
I believe in it for the most part, but I don't think it's absolute or always applicable.

That way when something good happens to a person who is good you can say "see its real" but when some thing bad happens you can say it doesnt always work.
I believe in me.
It would be a good thing if karma existed.
