This song sounds awfully familiar. I've heard something similar before but I don't know what.
For some reason, I foresee this in as the background music of many, many YouTube videos. So much so, that it will probably kill any part of this song I like.
I think the song is shit. It's like he ripped off Use Somebody.
Reminds me of U2
He aint ever gonna give it up is he.
Not bad. When will it become an internet meme though?
Rick Astley is a relic of times where talent was king and the justin biebers did not exist.
But still an incredibly good relic.
Hes a good singer
That actually wasn't half bad.
Liked it. Favorited.
I like how when one person says it's generic the rest follow suit
It sounds like he merged with mainstream music.
He was always "mainstream music".
Sounds to me like a bit of a mix between U2, Kings of Leon and maybe a bit of Take That?
I wish he did the 80's sound.
It would be nice if someone brought back 80's music. I listen to 80's songs much more than I do modern music.
Sounds good.
Me like. Been looping for hours now. :v:
Someone actually revived their career with an Internet meme.
Wow.
It's really catchy.
Sure it doesn't sound as groovy as Never Gonna Give You Up or anything but it isn't the 1980's anymore.
I really like it.
1)He's actually singing unlike many today and sounds incredibly good even without auto-tune.
2)You can still tell apart his unique voice from any other singer.
3)It's not pop crap.
Sounds like something generic from the 90s
shit, 90s stuff is a helluva ton better than the crap now, rated like
Sure, it's generic, but at least he's actually singing.
I liked it, but it wasn't Rick Astley-ish.... It was like Coldplay or U2.
That was actually pretty good.
Wait I got it, it sounds like Broken Strings by James Morrison.
Best artist ever. I'm liking it.
If all his songs sounded like "Never gonna give you up", I'd listen to all of them.
He doesn't even have that Rick Astley sound anymore.
The only real sound Rick ever had was his voice. The music was purely Stock Aitken Waterman. Examples of other artists produced by them:

It was really all the same. Rick's voice was the only thing making his songs really unique.
That songs actually pretty good.
My dad lived next door to Rick Astley. Does this make me famous?
its bad and you should feel bad for liking it
He's got a good voice. It's got a nice rythm too.
