people in tool shirts are tools seriously
Hey my geography teacher had a tool shirt. And a wolfmother shirt. he was a cool guy.
Whenever I see a Iron Maiden shirt I can't help but think "This person is probably a wrong generation who thinks everything was better back then" Same with Slayer shirts, there like "there's a 75% chance this person is a fucking tool" or people wearing the fucking Unknown Pleasures shirt without knowing the album
I have a few Iron Maiden shirts, I wear them because I like Iron Maiden and the shirts look good.
I'm also going to say Queen.
:C
The XX
They're o.k.
I wanna say Kiss.
I wanna say Kiss.
i'm gonna throw myself to the sharks and say they're underrated. you never see anyone say a good word about kiss, but some of the stuff from the ace frehley years was pretty influential
i'm gonna throw myself to the sharks and say they're underrated.
WOah! you are officially uninvited from the cool kids table!
no one likes kiss dude! no one
every dad ever likes kiss what are you on?
that's pure science, though. if a band has guitars in it, some dad out there likes it. it's less a matter of taste and more a matter of physics. it's called stringed theory
They're o.k.
Yes, and they are too popular for being just ok.
Arcade Fire.
fucking ac/dc unghhhhh what a monotonous band i'll like try to listen to an album of theirs and it'll be mindlessley entertaining for like the first 3 tracks and then it just quickly whittles down to snorecore with 8 more tracks of indistinguishable filler
I never really liked John Lennon or Nirvana. The Beatles never enthralled me either, but I'll admit that I'm a fan of Paul McCartney's solo work.
Arcade Fire.
do enough people know about arcade fire for them to be overrated? i don't even know how they got a grammy
slash is the most overrated guitarist in history
I never really liked John Lennon or Nirvana. [editline]4th August 2012[/editline]
slash is the most overrated guitarist in history
i never understood why he was popular. is it his looks or?
sweet child o mine
don't forget guitar hero III
slash is just a guy who got lucky imo, he's no legend, in fact however much this will piss people off, I admire Axl more as an artist. [editline]4th August 2012[/editline] he's an ass but then again how many people aren't?
slash would've made it regardless. half of the songs on the first album are his, etc and before that I think he was in London (the band)
not a chance [editline]4th August 2012[/editline] oh i thought you meant solo records
what the heck lol
yeah i don't think axl would've made it without his ideas being packaged with slash's more generally palatable style
do enough people know about arcade fire for them to be overrated? i don't even know how they got a grammy
Their album reached #1 on the Billboard 200 and got a Grammy. Yeah they're totes obscure. And Fugazi sucks. So boring and samey.
you said fugazi sucks and gave black flag's damaged 2 out of 5 are you looking to get murdered
Black Flag are boring and samey as well, especially Damaged. Not as boring and samey as Fugazi since there is SOME distinction between the songs but still pretty boring. I mean it's okay to be samey if you're making interesting music, but neither Black Flag nor Fugazi do that.
Black Flag make interesting music what are you talking about?
Dunno if they've been said before but Mastodon
everything is overrated
