Slayer, 50 Cent, Lil' Wayne, Lil' John, Post-Black Album Metallica, Motorhead, OFWGKTA, Kasabian.
Lil' John can't be overrated. Nobody likes him.
50 Cent.
I don't think people remember him any more.
no one here likes kasabian it's just NME im pretty sure lol early slayer is awesome too :) [editline]31st July 2012[/editline]
I don't think people remember him any more.
FUCK YOU
You know it's their most acclaimed album right?
It's pretty highly acclaimed by some critics today, but as far as sales go it's not nearly as successful as some of their better known albums. When it first came out it was almost a flop. That's just how I see it though.
ranked 7th on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 1972 UK Top 50 Albums 1 1972 German Albums Chart 2 1972 Billboard 200 1 Pitchfork Media (10/10) Yet calling it underrated is still viable? :v:

I still don't think it's overrated though. It's pretty much a perfect album and the epitome of rock and roll, in my own opinion of course.
I'm not sure. I would say Bon Iver.
DragonForce People are only giving them attention because they play faster than the speed of light.
I haven't heard Is This It yet.
David Guetta
God I hate this guy. All of his songs sounds like they took him 5 minutes to come up with and produce.
andrew jackson jihad so dumb
AC/DC for sure. I don't think they deserve to be where they are today, their success just isn't warranted from the amount of talent they have
Dragonforce Slayer Motorhead White Stripes Avenged Sevenfold Slipknot Allthough it's only my opinion, I'm pretty sure I'll be flooded with boxes anyway.
Pretty much all P4K-core punk is utter shit. Titus Andronicus and Fucked Up are the worst offenders though, absolutely cringeworthy.
titus is great, fucked up is decent at very best. at least titus aren't tryhards and make legitimately interesting music. fucked up is bland as shit [editline]1st August 2012[/editline] i wouldn't call them p4k core either, at least not to the extent that fucked up is, not by any means
It's streamlined pop punk with a dose of pointless bombast and cheesy lyrics, it's P4K-core just as much as Fucked Up. [editline]1st August 2012[/editline] Oh, and Japandroids. Fuck Japandroids too.
you're a really bad alt and a really bad person
At least I don't like Titus Andronicus HAH TOLD. (User was permabanned for this post ("Alt of permabanned user" - Starpluck))
go on edit oops
What was wrong with Titus Andronicus?
i love jimi hendrix & he's a part of my musical identity but he gets a lot of unfounded praise from people who know him as a media icon and nothing else
nothing
i love jimi hendrix & he's a part of my musical identity but he gets a lot of unfounded praise from people who know him as a media icon and nothing else
It doesn't really matter. There are those of us who know him for the music and those who know him for his image as a black rockstar.
It doesn't really matter. There are those of us who know him for the music and those who know him for his image as a black rockstar.
this is a thread about overrated artists though if he gets heaps of praise from people who've only heard one song by him doesn't that make him overrated??
no. It makes him popular. One million people making an invalid opinion doesn't make the music overvalued.
he is literally overrated because some people rate him highly without knowing anything about him. some of those people might not like his music if they dug deeper. if we're going to get into the subjectivity of what makes something overrated, then this whole thread is pointless.
