Kelly's Heroes was quite good.
My 4th grade teacher's father was in Tora! Tora! Tora! He got shot out of a plane, if that's the right movie.
Saving private ryan or enemy at the gates
Kelly's Heroes was quite good.
Very well-made for being from 1970 too.
Hard to choose, there's a variety of good ones. The Pacific, Band Of Brothers, Enemy at the Gate and Saving Private Ryan.
Gonna have to go with Band of Brothers.
The Pianist Saving Pvt Ryan is a great movie, but a little overrated
Inglorious Basterds Tali-Ihantala 1944
Mine are Life is Beautiful
You like that movie too?
LEtters from Iwo Jima and Flags Of Our Fathers
The Band of Brothers series, Schindler's List and Saving Private Ryan.
Saving Private Ryan, The Pianist and Schindler's List.
Enemy at the gates probably
Schindler's List Letters from Iwo Jima Inglourious Basterds Saving Private Ryan
Guns of Navarone, A Bridge Too Far, Saving Private Ryan, Enemy At the Gates, Letters from Iwo Jima. Just need to see one set in North Africa to have a favourite from each theatre.
Check out Patton for some great North African action.
I love Band of brothers, and The pacific is good too. When it comes to films, the intro the Saving Private Ryan is really good, but the rest is meh. Also the like Der Untergang and Hitler: Rise of Evil, a very interesting movie.
Saving Private Ryan god damn :h:
Enemy at the Gates The Longest Day
Saving Private Ryan
Defiance is a pretty damn good movie for those who want to watch a fresh WWII film, great action.
yes!!!
I can't believe so many people liked Enemy at the gates, I thought the acting was terrible and the story line was kinda strange. But my favourites: Band of Brothers Wind Talkers Das Boot the English patient (that might have been WW1 and it wasn't really a war movie, but I liked it.)
Windtalkers :| ? That had even worse acting though. Anyways, my favorites are; Saving Private Ryan Band of Brothers Letters From Iwo Jima Flags of Our Fathers The Longest Day
ITT: "Saving Private Ryan is the only WWII movie i've ever seen". Longest Day for me.
the English patient (that might have been WW1 and it wasn't really a war movie, but I liked it.)
I only know about that movie because of Seinfeld. :colbert:
Shaving Ryans Privates..
i picked up saving private ryan on blu ray (it's a new release) and I have to say it's one of the best looking movies out on blu ray to this date, definite buy for any blu ray collector.
