I work at Camp Ernst as a cabin counselor, the same camp Scott attended during week 3 over the summer. He stayed in Cabin 2 for that week. I, Stephen, was Scott's Cabin Counselor for that week, along with my co-counselor, Tyler. I got a call yesterday from my boss at Camp informing me of the news of Scott's (as well as his Dad's) death. I can honestly say I was shocked. Only six weeks ago I took care of Scott and had an awesome time being his counselor. It's still hard to believe that he is dead now, he was a great camper to have in the cabin, and never caused any trouble. It sickens me that this would happen. He was supposed to grow up and be a counselor like me one day, I should never of had to attend one of my Camper's funerals. I, of course, will be attending the visitation today at 4pm at Scott's church, and I'm pretty sure my co-counselor will be there as well. I am certainly glad this man died, but he deserves much worse than death. I still can't possibly figure out why he specifically tracked down and killed Scott, he was an 11 year old child!

This could have been avoided if all the family members were carrying firearms. USA, USA, USA.

Not sure why it showed up, but I remembered that I had a facepunch account and decided it was worth posting. I will be at the visitation if you come, and I will be with my boss, Eli, and my co-counselor Tyler. I'll have a green Camp Ernst wristband on my left wrist if you want to spot me out for proof. Hell, I'll even wear my employee nametag for further proof.

After that, I totally forgot about the account and went on with life.
