with that fallacy you could say the same about any concert
How can music made on a FUCKING COMPUTER sound any different live?
[editline]19th September 2011[/editline]
Hint: it can't

So basically it sounds like a giant fart because there's too much bass and it already sounds like a giant fart at home from too much bass.
Hmmmm live concert.
Loud music and bass, and tons of bitches. I don't see a problem here. Opinions are opinions man.

Nerde bitches and shit music. I'd take a Gorillaz concert over your Wub Wub shit any day.
You never know.
I'd personally never be caught dead listening to electronic music so the chances of me going to a concert for it are zero.
oh no electric music
its so easy to make lol
NO ITS FUCKING NOT I WORK HARD IN MUSIC AND GOD FUCK DO YOU REALISE HOW TEDIOUS IT IS TO SAMPLE
I FIND PLAYING REAL INSTRUMENTS EASIER GODFUCK
:)
Oh no clicking buttons on a computer screen SO HARD
Anyone who thinks the value and quality of music comes from rote mechanical ability to play an instrument and not from the actual composition and creativity of the music itself can fuck right off. Just because it's physically easy to create and play doesn't make it less legitimate as music.
Speaking of mixes and electronica, I recently found electro-swing and it's pretty cool. And you're talking out your ass if you think that it's easier to make than some generic four-chord pop hit.

Made on =/= output on
the acoustics in a concert are far different than in a room with some regular speakers

You don't even like it, everything you post about electronic is an uninformed assumption
Oh no clicking buttons on a computer screen SO HARD
[SUP]uninformed [SUB]assumption[/SUB][/SUP]
Not to mention most electronica artists will mix up the music for concerts, and can do improvisation and alteration live. It's pretty much what DJs do, except they created the music to begin with. Daft Punk I know in particular does a lot of remixes and themes in their live concerts. I don't like extremely loud music, so I don't go to concerts, but I really don't see a problem with live electronica.
Electric music is not easy to fucking make. It's one of those things that may LOOK easy to you but there is quite a lot more behind it. You know damn well that in this video this kid doesn't just have every song on a button that plays it at exactly the right pitch, tone, speed, and volume in perfect correspondence to the other songs:

Also, even if it was as easy as you idiots are putting it out to be, why the fuck should that matter? If it sounds good, who cares if it took the artist 6 months or 6 hours?
Statements like that piss me off, it's the exact same thing as the retards who say that working in CNC is just pressing start and stop.

Electronic artists are pretty much dj's. Also, most, if not all of daft punk's songs are using a sampled beat. Not that there is anything wrong with that, in fact i think it makes it more awesome.
And i wouldn't know if i like concerts, never went to one. I was SUPPOSED to go to a Cake concert over my spring break last year but i underestimated their popularity and thought that buying tickets in a month in advance would be adequate.
Cheapest tickets i could find then were standing room only for 300$ all the way in the back. I might get tickets to the foo fighters when they come here in november.

More like 6 seconds when it comes to electronic music because all they do in each song is change maybe two notes.
Taep get the fuck out, i know you have high standards but you don't have to bastardize them into a discussion of music.
ahahahaha you really have no idea do you
Oh no I have an opinion!
Oh no I have an opinion!
Good for you, but before you condemn the genre by broad speculations do some fucking research.
I don't go to a death metal concert and say "OH WELL HE'S JUST BANGING ON THE DRUMS WITH NO EFFORT OR SKILL TO IT".
Don't be an ignorant prick.
"he's just fingerign those strings i dont see the skill?"
ok taep if its so easy to create some electronic music go and make us a song
go and do it
Wow look at how much shit I started just by announcing an DJ, pathetic. I don't really care what you all say I'm going the show and enjoy the fuck out of myself. End of story.

there's really only one person who is saying that electronic is shit.
"he's just fingerign those strings i dont see the skill?"
'you just take like four chords and pluck the strings, take maybe ten seconds'
I have an easier time trying to play a Van Halen solo on my guitar than creating my own electronica. There's a ton of work needed to make electronic music, especially since you have to essentially play every single part of the band yourself.
Oh no I have an opinion!
It's misinformed and arrogant. If you can't respect other people's taste then you can't pull the opinion card, this is the second time you've done this.
My opinion is that electronic music is garbage. What;s so wrong about that? if someone else had the same opinion you wouldn't do fuck all about it. Is it somehow wrong for me to have any opinion that you people don't agree with?

there's nothing wrong with not liking the music, but simply saying that it takes no skill to make is just stupid.
You are allowed to think that electronic music is shit, but dont come in spewing shit that electronic music is super easy to make. ITS NOT. I tried making a track a while back, took me 4 days to even finish and even then it really wasnt that great or original.
