They need 10 days to get you the gun so they can fill the breach with lead.
No, i meant the layout, is the layout fucked? it looks like FP is stuck in the 90's.
That's a good thing then.
Oh really? [thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/WTFCHROME.png[/thumb] [editline]4th November 2011[/editline] sad thing is it's fine in firefox
Well I just had the best night of airsoft ever. Everything was perfect. All of the kills, all of the teamwork, and all of the objectives. By the end of the night it was 5 of the best regulars/staff members and 3 new players versus upwards of 20 people and we slaughtered them. I just used my pistol for most of the night and in one round where I ran out of ammo I ran around with my hands in the shape of a pistol.
unrelated: http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1137940 there is simply no reason to identify yourself as a republican and claim to support reasonable politics
I don't hate the republicans. I think it's stupid for either party to hate eachother, it detracts from the real problems and running the country; However, what has me puzzled is how the Republican party is always pushing for "small government" and claims that the Democrats wants to take away everyone's rights, yet they want to outlaw gay marriage, outlaw abortion, they continually refer to the United States as a "Christian Nation" despite the fact that the first amendment includes freedom of religion and also the legislation on the separation of church and state, and they want to continue subsidizing industry and Wall Street. Seems a little hypocritical to me.
Ossum, CTRL-F5, it fixes most FP problems
The Republicans can appropriately run an economy, so long as they aren't fighting war, and the Democrats can respect most human freedoms, but they still do a half ass job. I'm increasingly finding myself to be a libertarian.
Libertarianism seems a bit strange to me, I don't see de-regulation as a good thing at all.
I just wish there was a legitimate third party to vote for. I think shit would be alot better if there were more "real" parties, because frankly, I don't think either the Republican or Democratic party accurately represent me, or really even most Americans for that matter [editline]5th November 2011[/editline]
Libertarianism seems a bit strange to me, I don't see de-regulation as a good thing at all.
I do agree with their "No Intervention" Foreign Policy though
Yeah I'm not saying all Libertarian ideas are bad, but I personally don't see de-regulation as a good thing (gee, as a socialist, no kidding).
I don't see de-regulation being a good thing at all. I think there's every reason for regulation. i.e. CEOs being paid millions and still getting million dollar Christmas bonuses when the company is failing and they're laying off thousands of workers. Seems a little backwards to me for the CEO to get a bonus for laying people off. I also think that being a politician should go back to being an un-paid job. At the Federal level at least.

Happy birthday. Also, I forgot to mention that one or two of the staff of TAA might be getting shell ejecting shotguns now. And then we're rolling to the next Pine Plains together.
Libertarianism seems a bit strange to me, I don't see de-regulation as a good thing at all.
The argument against regulations (I consider myself a libertarian and I'll try to be objective) stems from two main premises. One is that regulations are inherently coercive and therefore anti-freedom. Another commonly used point is that regulations often end up giving big corporations more power and that regulators can easily be bribed out. There is also, of course, the case against all government programs that they are too costly to run and maintain.
In my opinion it doesn't do any good to have a completely regulated or completely de-regulated system. There aught to be a happy medium. The way I see it, in a de-regulated system the corporations will just do what they bribed regulators to do in a regulated system, except they'll just do it on their own, and won't have to bribe anyone

[editline]5th November 2011[/editline] I also feel that things like having no minimum wage would really hurt the middle-low class.
It's already impossible to survive on minimum wage. If there was no minimum and people were getting paid less than that, there'd be no point in working

I believe there are plenty of free market solutions to the problems that are being sought to be solved by regulations. But I don't want to derail the thread any further.
