sounds kinda like a new zero, minus the custom building
Yeah, my basic inspiration was the engineering of Kerbal Space Program, the dualistic build/fight of Sourceforts, the multiplayer coop of A New Zero, and the gameplay of Dogfight. Where it differs from A New Zero is in removing the pseudo-economic sim, and replacing it with direct and automated benefits to your team. The lost depth would be made up for with the aircraft design system, which would basically rely on building counters to the craft your enemy is using, as well as synergy with your own team.
Example: So you're flying around in a biplane fighter, because they're really maneuverable and so good for dogfighting. The other team starts flying slow but powerful bombers bristling with guns. You're too slow to dodge their fire, so they shoot you down. You switch to a high-speed low-maneuverability jet interceptor, and do slashing attacks on their bombers, hitting them too quickly for them to track. They switch to small but fast fighter-bombers, able to out-turn you and prevent you from getting a bead on them. You switch to a heavily armed dogfighter able to out-turn and out-gun the bombers. They switch to high-altitude jet-powered strike bombers that can fly above you and outrun you because they're unarmed (except for bombs), so you switch to short-ranged rocket interceptors that can fly up, blow them outta the sky, and come back to ground to refuel.
And that's just your fighters vs their bombers. Once your bombing and their fighters come into play, and with different types on both sides, it gets pretty complicated.
Goddamn I don't know what I want to do with my life. first when I went to uni I was set on getting a degree in computer science but now that I've finished my first semester I want to do something more exciting and different but I have no clue what. I'd love to do politics but that's not something that's in demand at all (not to mention, when was the last time you saw a socialist elected in Canada?). So I'm going to be taking some world issues, history and aboriginal studies courses for now, still have no clue where this is all leading though.
You and me can be social studies teacher bros.

Bread+nutella+peanut butter= reese sandwich.
Put on SyFy now, if you get that channel. Scary having that going on around here.
im actually quite glad i dropped out of IB, what a waste of time.
I'm an IB dropout too.
IB doesn't seem like it would be worth the trouble to me. I like having a life outside of homework.
My school does IB stuff too, they haven't mentioned learner profiles or whatever the whole school year so far :crossfingers:
IB wasn't a waste of time but I didn't want to do it from the beginning and that's why I didn't do so well.
When I applied myself, I was one of the top kids among the first 200 to join IB at our school (only 3 years old) but I hated the program and fought it and my parents from day 1. You have to actually have the motivation to do IB and I simply didn't.
so me and stupideye and steedreal(not sure if you guys know him probs not) are beginning work on our first MMO.

had a 3.0 GPA with IB:(
dropped out and now im a straight A student
When I dropped out of IB, I was depressed because of this breakup ordeal and did nothing my 10th grade year because I'm dumb and can't get over shit so my GPA is still recovering while I'm trying to break my laziness habit.
Fun fact: VFC makes a licensed G36 and MP5 GBBR.
WTF how did we not hear about this.
What exactly is IB?
International Baccalaureate
It's a program made to standardize education across the entire world. It's a bit more challenging than AP because it requires actual thought sometimes. Most of the time it's just tedious bullshit boomboom work.
What exactly is IB?
International Baccalaureate, if I'm correct. Basically, concerned concerned with dumb ass learner profiles, and, depending on how fucking retarded your school is, four rubrics, 1-7, 1-8, 1-6, and 1-16, which have to be rehashed into one 1-7 grade for each class. And my school is forced, very strict IB.
You and me can be social studies teacher bros.
teaching is something that is becoming more attractive, mostly because it would let me continue into politics but converting all the little boys and girls into little socialists
Oh, my school doesn't have that, but it has some AP stuff and from what I've heard those are super easy and have like no homework.

I've seen those before. They make a GBB M4 too. Basically it's just VFC externals with some nameless company GBB internals. They're not very good
sounds kinda like a new zero, minus the custom building
Literally A New Zero minus the new things he's coming out with.
Fuck, I was going to do something that I'm pretty sure was important; but then I sat down and now for the life of me, I can't remember.
It seems like everybody's school except mine wants to have classes that are supposedly more challenging for the more intelligent kids. Instead my school focuses on making people who would otherwise drop out learn despite them not wanting too because our administration jizzes too much over the fact that our school has the lowest drop out rate in the province and they want to keep it that way.

I also managed to find a large set of steel replacement/upgrade parts made by Crusader. Its weird because VFC doesn't make G36 or MP5 anything.
They're probably not ATF approved, therefore non-US market guns
Well in more exciting news, apparently the owner of my CQB land used to love the KSC glocks before he moved to TM HiCapas's, and as a result he has a very large collection he wants to sell. Finding out details on Friday, but I may go halfsies on it with a friend in a few months.
My glocks will block out the sun.
then we will explode in the shade
Finally got around to watching Full Metal Jacket, just kind of mad they didnt [sp]go into more when Pile killled himself and the Di (forgot his name already)[/sp]
