Fuck yeah :buddy:
Even if the US passes this...atrocity, I doubt anyone will do anything about it (except Obaba[sic]). The UN has no power over its members. So fuck them.

Fuck YES Many countries already didn't like an agreement which was partially held secret from them
"should not weaken fundamental rights such as freedom of expression and the right to privacy." This is fantastic.
Yeah, this pretty much destroys the part of ACTA that caused the outrage. For example the theory that an official could seize your laptop or IPod in an airport because of a suspicion, or just spot-checking. If that had gone through there would have been a huge amount of public unrest (as in people would have protested either violently or disruptively) until something was done about it. I don't download ANY pirated material, so I have no problem with tightening laws on people taking money from media publishers and people who work hard to earn that money. As long as deep packet inspection doesn't come in, making gaming a total trainwreck.
I've heard of this but haven't really cared enough to read up on it. What exactly does this mean?
I scared myself by misreading it and missing out the 'anti' part But everything went better than expected :buddy:
Fuck yes! :banjo:

So what's ACTA about, and why should I be happy for this decision?
Europe! Fuck yeah!
:toot: Dance party, go. :slick:
Hooray! For once in a good while, the EU proved that they are NOT just a bunch of clowns sitting on their hands
Fuck yeah eu! :buddy:
Update: The final number of signatures is 393 and it has been adopted. http://www.europarl.europa.eu/activities/plenary/writtenDecl/wdSidesSearch.do;jsessionid=CDD81BEB0575E75F1E8C353170CCD5A6.node2
Europe you're so lucky. Im still stuck with a government who speaks for primarily big business
Non-binding declaration, fuck yeah.
:sax:
So what's ACTA about, and why should I be happy for this decision?
It was a would-be law that forced every child under the age of 16 to be featured in child pornography, and they would monitor everything you downloaded.
For once, I am very happy to be an EU citizen.
This.
Europe you're so lucky. Im still stuck with a government who speaks for primarily big business
Well let's hope that if Europe rejects ACTA, then the entire thing falls apart.
And now we wait for what the US has to say.
Any Europeans out there who can tell me which country has the highest demands for Doctors? Preferably in a country closer to the equator, I dislike the cold
