DD first came about through groups I believe. What was annoying was there was that there was one group called weed discussion (or something similar) and another group called drug discussion (or something similar). Certain people would throw a fit whenever someone mentioned drugs other than weed in the weed discussion. I'm not sure if the DD was made because of the complainers, or if someone just decided to make it.

Speaking about groups, it seems as though in the facepunch labs that the DD is gone and will likely just become a group. If this is true I'm predicting this whole ordeal will occur all over again.
