I have 2 techs I have consulted, Shwell11 on youtube who has been doing this for 3 years and then my good friend Chaz Spence who has been a gun tech for 6 years now and has tweaked with many G&P gearboxes and rifles.

Played along side him at Combat City in Florida, so I'd believe him as well.

Read: had JG gears in one of my old guns and they shredded on an M100 spring.

Unfortunately it wont save the axles from snapping which is what has happened on quite a few G&P gearsets, and cmon for $10 for stronger axle gears that are only the slightest bit weaker than the actual G&P Gears themselves I'm pretty sure its worth it.

Seriously though, even the Evike "Matrix" gears will be better than the JG ones. G&P gears fail because people try to jam a 400+ fps spring in there. XYT gears (JG/China) are copies of the G&P gears and fail for the same reason. [editline]23rd December 2011[/editline] Actually get some helical gears if you REALLY must replace the stock gears.

Cause I don't have the money for any fancy ass gears, All I need are gears that aren't going to break on me for cheap, and I also plan on bumping this to about 375 FPS.

The JG gears honestly aren't going to last any longer than the G&P ones

Also when you consult a gear tech about G&P's gears and then suggest JG to them, tell me what they tell you and then maybe, Just MAYBE I'll consider getting different gears. I don't see why you guys cant just let me put what I want in my own gearbox that I feel is the right way to go.

Because it's a bad idea, why not just get better gears than JG if you absolutely must change out your gears.
