Unless I can find a Galaxy MP5K. :v:
http://www.airsplat.com/Items/ERM-GX-MP5K-G5K.htm http://www.airsplat.com/Items/ERM-GX-MP5K-G5.htm While airsplat is hardly the top choice, its in stock there and to be honest I've never had any trouble from them, once you can get past the ugly and dysfunctional website.
That's the only place I found it from, and I'm seriously considering it. But then, I'm left with still using hicaps, a paintball mask, etc etc. Would it really be worth it to have another gun? One side of me is saying to do it, though.
Well how much dosh do you have available? Nice goggles/mask are crucial for outdoors since you actually need to see the other team, but those don't cost that much if you shop smart. Hicaps are no midcaps, but midcaps are also nice and cheap. If you've got like $200 to spend, you could get the MP5K, some goggles, and a box of MP5 midcaps.
~$245, being slightly flexible with that number, but that would mean borrowing dosh from family. Also, is there anything I would want/need to do to the MP5K internally?
Well first, do you need goggles, glasses, or a full mask? I'm pretty bad with finding all of those, so someone else should find you one of those. but then: MP5K $105 Battery (can fit an 8.4v stock or a 9.6v with modification) $25-$30 http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=31_176&products_id=29459 http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=31_176&products_id=29460 Magazine box set: http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=23_56_420&products_id=33493 $45 Right now that's $175-$180 +shipping+goggles before discounts. You won't need to do any modifications to the gun, but you will need at least .25g bb's. Most Galaxy's do perfect with .25's, but I can use .3g's with no hopup in mine because its crazy.
I don't need anything, as I have a full mask, but it's a piece of shit. I was told brassguards and full seal goggles are fine by the admin of the site I attend. Thanks for the help, but I'm gonna get some sleep. If I have any questions, mind if I shoot you a PM on here or Facebook?
Not at all my boy, message away. Since you can get away with a brassguard at your field, you may want to go with the tried and tested Flakjacks due to their cheap price and good quality, and the biggest thing you can do to reduce fog is that you make sure any hair you have is kept away from your goggle's upper vents.

I've seen people rip them all off, but I question the safety of that. I personally have desert locusts, but I had to rip the foam off of them so that they would stop fogging at night.

Hoping you guys can help me out here. I just picked up that glorious MG36 and i realize that i need a light on it. I'd prefer something that is >800 lumens, even if it is a large light. I'm going support weapon style here so you get the idea. [editline]2331[/editline] Scratch that, It just needs to be really fucking bright.
why
why
Because I want to see where my bbs are going and blind other players.

[editline]2339[/editline] And preferably a light that doesnt run on wierd batteries.

Mine is only 220 and that's more than bright enough enough to get the job done, easily lit up my entire street when the power went out a month back. For $50 you can find some good tactical flashlights that will easily fit 30mm scope rings and have pressure sensitive end caps, which is way more ideal than a twist on and off light. If you want a good, somewhat cheap tac light look at Fenix. Just about all their models are compatible with a pressure switch that replaces the original endcap. This one is 280 lumens and comes with batteries (CR123, those can be pricey but are common for most tac lights and PEQ boxes, etc). http://www.lapolicegear.com/fenix-tk11-tk-11-flashlight.html Here's some other models. http://www.lapolicegear.com/fenix-light-flashlights.html I have the TA20, 3 brightness levels plus strobe. Works wonders for me. http://www.lapolicegear.com/fenix-ta20-tactical-flashlight.html
solarforce flashlights are great little bright lights.
UTG actually makes some nice lights.
1000 Lumens would be what an aircraft spotting light?
I hear 4sevens are getting good reviews $60 for 280lumens.
1000 lumens would literally blind you sounds like dealextreme to me
Blinding other players is kinda dickish imo.
