Blinding other people in general is completely and utterly asshole imo.
ftfy
anyone who blinds = asshole it works, but you are an asshole
anyone who blinds = asshole it works, but you are an asshole
ever been blinded by a flashlight in airsoft? it's 200 lumen i can guarantee you imagine 5x that
fuck, my eyes would bleed out of my asshole
1000 lumens would literally blind you sounds like dealextreme to me
so xtreme
Well I need a flashlight bright enough that when i shine it in your face you can't see my form, Just light.
Why do you NEED it?
He wants it, that's reason enough. Hd said he wants it so he can see his bbs and to blind others.
There was this one dude who put a $1 store led light into a rail mount and put it on his gun. At a feild game. In the middle of the day. He left it on all day and was seen from everywhere.

I used to be on that dude's team too, It's a bunch of dudes who obsess over Battlefeel and literally base their opinions, loadouts and upgrades based on the game. Listening to them talk about sniper rifles makes me cringe, knowing that people who don't know better are trying to say my hard work and time is on par with a WELL L96 with ASGI upgrades slapped on.
Why do you NEED it?
Because I need to see my BBs and blind enemy players. Duh.
i can see my bbs fine without a flashlight and i've never needed to blind anyone ever
BB's are simple to see without a flashlight, and anything over 200 lumens is fucking dangerous. Using a 1000 lumen flashlight would likely get you banned from any field you play at and possible lawsuits. Also, you're not going to blind anybody in daytime and outside; you'll just be super obvious to everyone. In a nightgame, you'll make yourself super obvious to everyone you aren't directly blinding, and you still would never need over 250 lumens of light. If you want to blind someone in close quarters, 200-250 lumens is the absolute max of what you'd need, most people I know run 150-180. Anything else is extreme overkill. Basically, get a 150-250 lumen flashlight and don't put it on your gun unless its a nightgame or clsoe quarters.
I wouldn't use a flashlight at a night game because you kinda blind yourself in the process.
I wouldn't use a flashlight at a night game because you kinda blind yourself in the process.
yeah the light just refracts off invisible mirrors into your eyes it sucks
Then maybe I just have suckey eyes because when I look at a light, directly or not, it always fucks out my vision.
No guys he means to make them go blind forever
No guys he means to make them go blind forever
this is indeed correct [editline]27th December 2011[/editline] guess I didn't put enough emphasis on literally in my first post there
1000 lumen lights aren't dangerous. I want a bright flashlight, can you guys stop throwing your opinions around and help me find one?
1000 lumen lights aren't dangerous. I want a bright flashlight, can you guys stop throwing your opinions around and help me find one?
No, you seriously don't need that much unless you're trying to signal space lasers to shoot down your opponents.
Zerokateo v2 oh boy here we go
No, you seriously don't need that much unless you're trying to signal space lasers to shoot down your opponents.
Didn't ask for you opinion dude, either help me find a light or don't.
That's not an opinion, that's a fact.
That's not an opinion, that's a fact.
No, it's an opinion. I want a bright light to put on my weapon, It needs to be more that 200 lumens and preferably more than 300-400 lumens. I don't care if you think it's too bright.
This seems like a good one, it have low light, strong light and strobing http://www.amazon.com/Black-Rechargeable-Flashlight-lumens-switch/dp/B004VPDTOO
Pretty good price, and it looks good. Reading reviews now.
It's not dangerous in itself (no UV or IR light from an LED), and it's not like looking at the sun in terms of lumen:area ratio, but shit it is not okay to point 500+ lumen flashlights around at night from <30 feet. Don't do it. It can and will damage someone's eyes. They'll be left with a massive mark on their eyes for a good 10 minutes and generally degrade their vision unless they look away immediately, like the instinct we've trained ourselves with with the sun. We don't have that instinct for airsoft with stupid crazy flashlights though, the instinct is to squint harder and attempt to get used to it, not put your head down and get yourself out.
Bit the bullet and bought those surplus Revision DLs, and this. Evike takes forever to ship, right? Basically, I chose basic ground shipping, and need it to be here before January 28th.
my evike orders got to my house in less than a week
