I was just reading through the thread and noticed everyone talking about causing eye damage with the flashlight. Unless the flashlight contains UV (ultraviolet) rays then the intense brightness from these lights should not cause any damage to the eyes. The UV rays are what damage the eyes, such as sunlight, welder torches, tanning beds and things like that.

I may have found the ultimate secret website for optics. I just found the G36 red dot that you can mount on regular rails, a Belomo PK-A, and a bunch of other ridiculous sights.

Between work and being sick all week I haven't been to Airsoft in such a long time. I used to go pretty often but once the holidays started I worked like 6 days a week and was usually broke anyway because of Christmas gifts. I probably won't buy much in the coming months. If they ever release the KWA Kriss or the TM Springfield XD I'll bankrupt myself if I have too. The most I see is maybe $80 worth of accessories to finish tricking out my Type 89 and that Revolver I wanted to get so many nights ago.

I don't get why you'd want 1000 lumens, its like having 550 fps with .48, it's dangerous and unnecessary. There's no point in hurting someone over a game.

I'd understand if he wanted something bright enough so someone has to squint and can't see his body easily, but he's pushing it too far.

I.. might actually buy that PEQ too, I've been on the fence about getting a PEQ since I don't want to attach too much shit onto my gun, but Ender made the lasers sounds super useful. I use my laser when statements like, "UH, THE ENEMY IS IN THAT UH, BUILDING" when there's like 50 buildings in front of you and it helps target sneaky fucks taking potshots at you [editline]31st December 2011[/editline] but then again I rarely use it to aim my gun with so I'd probably be better off with a $5 laser pointer

I once thought about getting an IR laser for use with my NVG's since it's next to impossible to sight in with them. Couldn't find any that weren't so pricey. The other laser I have was pretty much useless, I can aim fine in darkness and should really have invested in a better torch.
