I am really torn between getting an AKS-74U or just getting a standard MP5 for CQB. My current AEG just died on me and fixing it wold be more costly then getting a new gun. I love the AK style but the MP5 just seems to be much more CQB friendly. So far i am looking at this ICS MP5 [url]http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_83&products_id=6800[/url] However, i would very much appreciate if you guys can suggest a decent AK that would be more bang for the buck, because i really do not know the market of AK's as well.

AFAIK you'd have to replace most of the gearbox to do that

I don't really know but I read it as how to remove it and not disabling it, I don't know how disabling it would affect the guns performance

Might need to crack open the gearbox to properly remove those pieces but that's what I would do. Another solution would be to fill the port hole where the air from the cylinder goes through to push the bolt. I'm thinking super glue would fix this up, but it's a permanent fix.

Finally broke down and bought a Glock after using my friends KJW. Got the KJW G32C with an OD frame from ehobbyasia. Hopefully will be here next week and I will get pictures of it up.

Why do you want to remove the blowback system? In my travels i've learned it's just one more thing to break, but it doesn't actually effect the gun.

TM Springfield XD-M is coming out 'Late January' according to the Tokyo Marui website. That's my next purchase, hopefully it'll come out around my birthday. If not that, than I'm going to get a Japanese style MBSS vest and soft armor. But the vest is out of stock at the moment so I may need to wait. Also anyone want to buy my TAR 21?

Rumor is Kriss doesn't come out until June 2012 in which case I'll have to use that money I get from selling my Tavor and buy another AEG to fill my rack. I guess I should get an AK, I need one I just can't decide.
