How many hicapas does IFAP have now?
I have a fuckton of mags, and I only have 6 hicaps. Two of them are UMP hicaps because that's what it came with and the mags, mid or highcap are expensive as shit.
bad reading

Right right. Then I think it's just me Ender and Foos.
I HAD a hicapa. It was stolen.
MK 23 is like if the desert eagle was chambered in .45 ACP
but it's cool because snake used it
I have 2 hi-capas, almost bought a third last weekend.

Thanks for the link, I checked out Zero-one but that gun was out of stock, annoyingly enough.
What's the consensus on KJ Works in the IFAP community?
Kinda relevant to this thread since this will be my next (make that first) airsoft purchase if I do ever find a USP in stock.

Doooooo not do it!
The KJ works USP is pants tier, it's got a blocked front double stack mag (Impossible to load correctly) and literally cuts your fingers when dropping the mag.
Plus leaky mags.
For the record, a lot of KJ Works stuff is great, especially their hicapa's and M9's. From what I've heard their glocks and USP are not good.
Thanks for the warning chaps!
The search continues...
I placed my order for a TM XD-M on Redwolf. It was like a $200 total with shipping. I'm getting mags at another time because they didn't carry them yet and I already spent enough money. I get paid this Friday so hopefully that'll fill in the difference and I'll be back to my original $1,000 balance.
Just ordered:
-CYMA M14 SOCOM, faux wood. I'm going to improve the wood finish for sure, if I can find a compatible kit I might even swap it outright for real wood.
-Echo 1 H-nubs. I intend to put one in my M60 and test out the other in this M14.
-8,000 G&G .25g, because both the 60 and 14 will be using them and I burn ammo like crazy.
-Spare mag for the M14
-G&G motor for the M14
One of my friends suggested I use the M14 as a backup weapon to my M60. It seems crazy but just might be doable.

For the M14 I suggest trying a flat hop. Considering you're going to be using semi, it would be p. benificial

Is it literally just as simple as shaving down the bucking? Is there any more to it than that?
Edit: Huh, this is really interesting. Might do this for my M60 too, it looks like it might be helpful to squeeze as much range as possible from that gun.

Yeah, you make a new nub out of an eraser or something similar. The idea is to make the nub the same size as the window on the barrel.
Kinda like this

That's really clever, and definitely doable with the parts I have available. I think I might do that on my M60, although first I want to make sure the results are as good as they claim. Are there any shortcomings I should be aware of?
What I would suggest is having an extra bucking to try it out on, so you can go back to a normal one should you mess up. From what I've read though they seem incredibly effective.
The only shortcoming that I'm aware of is that you may have some overhop if you make your nub too tall
I like my SCS spacer in my CM, even though I do not use my CM that much anymore.

I put a ~1mm thick plastic piece on top of my 60's nub and now the hop works amazingly

That is more or less what I did initially, but the horizontal consistency is really terrible and every once in a while the shots hook oddly. I have no idea why they decided to make the nub vertical, it's a uniquely awful design.
I'm actually making progress on my ApSci PMC loadout. I found a set of Italian plain white winter BDUS for $20 on weapon blender, i'm going to snag that soon and all i need after that is a plate carrier and i'll spray paint that and my MICH white. Maybe get a black and white shemagh if i have enough dosh leftover. Then sew the Aperture logo onto the vest, the ApSci symbol onto the unit patch area, and get a black and white subdued 'Murica patch to go on the other side. And i'll be done. Surprisingly easy. I already made a whole $60 the other day so yeah. I can afford it.
