Mine is pretty fucked up too.

Im thinking of getting into airsoft starting with a g36c, now I'm looking for a suitable acog for it. So would it be good or could you give me some tips for other acogs?

ACOG on a G36 looks incredibly odd to me. You should try some aimpoint thingy with a low mount.

The dealextreme Eotech and ACOG sights are very well made despite their price. I'd know, I have an official sight inspecting license.

ACOG in the G36 rails is pretty bork. [img]http://i.imgur.com/sRE9T.jpg[/img] It's more of a beard hair weld than a cheek weld. I just aim down the side of the gun anyways. It's faster and accurate enough for airsoft than using the irons or reflex sight. You dont need an "acog", just get a 4x zoom scope. I recently got mine for spotting/searching, not for ZOMG SNIPAHN. Makes it a bit easier than pulling out the binoculars/monocular to look for people. Really if you need a zoomed sight to hit somebody, your gun is going WAY over the 400 fps limit most fields have.

I have that ACOG. No magnification but the crosshairs are red and green and pretty crisp. As a replica to look good it exceeds expectations. [editline]27th May 2011[/editline] For some more dosh they also have one with magnification on there and the fiber optic thing.

Shoot I use my 4x ACOG all the time, and not just for spotting. People tend to hide behind cover, but not realize a limb is sticking out. With the ACOG I can place shots right on that leg sticking out and hit them. Without the ACOG or some other magnifying scope it would be hard to do.

Because I'd use it for Vietnam ops or things like it and those all take place almost exclusively in the Summer where I wouldn't have to worry about the cold fucking me over.

I've used the echo 1 and the uk arms c-mag for my g36s, they're both pretty crap, the only good C-mag is the CA one, but it costs about $150. That thing runs smooth as butter (I dont know how butter is smooth, just it is, ok). I want to get that STANAG adapter and try an M4 box mag in it and see how it works.

its tactical brail so if the shooter is blind he knows which magazine it is

Must Get: * Glock 17 Mag * Triple Tan Open-Top Mag-Pouch * Tan Flashbang Pouch Want to Get: * DCU Bottoms (Already have the top) * Maybe a Desert MARPAT Top (Already have the bottoms)

Those are the ICE quick draw pouches with the molle removed and replaced with velcro. IIRC, the red dots are so you can tell which mags are loaded with TAP hollwpoints or FMJ rounds.
