Get back to me. Mine are so touchy they're essentially useless.
ok; mine was too until I lost it so I bought the new set I swear, losing the damn things are the only thing keeping me from tossing the nades every round
I bought a set last sunday, I like mine.
is it louder and better
Solution:
I'd buy one in a heartbeat, were it not for the fact that the optics would cost more than half of what the gun itself did.
There is a replica Kobra that's less than $100. I'm tempted to buy that model of AK. So tempted. Wood is -really- nice but the modern look makes it more operator. I use it for PMC and Special Forces loadouts and if I ever get a Russian loadout I'm good to go assume it's more modern. I can also use it as a rebel weapon without too much hassle. If it was a scenario game like Vietnam I'd wrap the hand guard and stock in foliage wrap or something to fit canon.

What is the real model of that AK called anyway? Additionally, since it's not a matter of 'real wood vs. plastic wood' who makes a better model? CYMA(Is it? The CM. models) or Dboys?
Those shells are fucking SEXY, do they work like the old ones? What's with the orange caps on ehobby?
What is the real model of that AK called anyway?
I need to see the gas block but it could be a AK74M, AK101, AK105, or AK107 [editline]21st June 2011[/editline]
Those shells are fucking SEXY, do they work like the old ones?
There is a replica Kobra that's less than $100.
It's not very good though from what I've heard. The real thing is $200 which isn't that bad.
No, I have the old shells.
AK-74M I'm thinking is what I want. So who makes the better of the two companies? I don't want to spend 200+ on it. E1 Platinum M4 (VFC) will be expensive but worth it I think. I'll probably keep my Combat Machine as a loaner/backup but it's RIS is so ugly and I ended up stripping the screws to take it out because they're so impossibly difficult to remove. I could also sell it to my friend, but well, we'll see. [editline]21st June 2011[/editline]
It's not very good though from what I've heard. You don't have to spend more on the scope than on the gun too if you get the replica.
No, I have the old shells.
In terms on externals, the new shells have plastic caps that are harder than the actual nade itself, and because of the caps, the newer shells are slightly longer There shouldn't be any problems mounting shells on the new core or old core but I have a problem mounting the old shell on the new core, possibly because the thread is damaged AEX staff members let one off yesterday in the store for shits and giggles and Will at AEX said that "the sound is louder; actually more pronounced. The shell design should be more reliable" Ima test it for myself this friday or so
Glue it. Scopes and Sights to me are essentially expensive decorations anymore. They don't do me any good, especially when they're RED DOTS and HOLOSIGHTS because they're basically useless during the day anyway. Kinda want a AK74 too. So AK-74 or AK-74M. Tough choice. [editline]21st June 2011[/editline] Folding stock or no? God damnit there are so many AK's and none of them have that WOW factor to me like the TAR 21 or some other guns have. I have a specific loadout for my TAR and I rarely use it but it was the gun I -HAD- to have.
Hmm, guess I'll reconsider an AK then.

Yeah but I think the AK-74M -looks- better to me. I'm not a giant fan of the fixed stock on the AK-74 but god damn I love wood. And the folding stock version I'm 50/50 on. I want to wrap it in paracord but god.. I don't know. Also it's a positive thing, I'm definitely getting an AK (or another gun $200 or less) for Graduation.
god damn I love wood.
I wish this forum has sigs.

Maybe I'll just get the 74M for a gift and buy myself a wood version when I know for sure which one I want when I start working.

If I get the AKS-74, i'm definitely getting the SKS heatshield thing, and wrapping some of the stock in paracord. [editline]22nd June 2011[/editline] Can you use a Kobra with the AKS-74's folding stock?
Kobra goes on all AK's with that side rail thingy. [editline]21st June 2011[/editline] Oh, you're asking if you folding stock with look with the scope on? No. You can't fold the stock with a scope mount on.
Yeah, but wouldn't the folding stock fuck shit up?
gonna fucking get the kwa gbb ak when it comes and then I'm gonna get a Vityaz loadout and slay imperial capitalists
Realized and corrected myself before you posted. [editline]21st June 2011[/editline]
gonna fucking get the kwa gbb ak when it comes and then I'm gonna get a Vityaz loadout and slay imperial capitalists
When does it come out anyway?
When does it come out anyway?
Late 2011 based on how finished the gun is [editline]21st June 2011[/editline] when I held it they stated it was a prototype so they didn't have any mags to dryfire it but man, it feels great in your hands
Last time I saw a video of it, it was firing mags. [editline]22nd June 2011[/editline] O shit nevermind that's the WE one
I want this. http://www.amazon.com/UTG-AccuShot-Competition-Shadow-Sniper/dp/B002TUSJJI/ref=wl_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=I1MSURY7UJVUWG&colid=J15ZE1N7V4AH Anyone know if it's good or not?
