@Venom/Stupideye
ok
awaiting your report
Codemonkey, the allen screws inside the plate on the outer barrel might be loose. Mine got loose and I had mich tighten them up, and now it's fine.
I kinda figured but the RIS on the Raider is such a FUCKING FAGGOT that I can't get an allen key inside the thing to tighten them. So I'll see if Mich can do something with it.

Also now I'm torn.
Echo 1 Platinum Edition M4 (VFC) -

KWA M4 -
* Extremely High Performance High Quality

I'd go for the KWA, my DBoys mids seem to fit Curt's KWA, and so does my G&G hicap. AIM hicaps fit nicely into it, and Mich says MAG makes the best midcaps for it (as long as you get the greyish ones, something about the black ones fall apart or something).
Parts for it may be expensive, but you can get them on the KWA website, and I think the gun worth the money for the parts, if it ever breaks.
Well, I'm talking both Internal and External parts. If I wanted to put a new stock on it, a new RIS, a longer barrel, a different upper or lower receiver I wouldn't be able too.
Ontop of that internal parts with the exception of three or four items have to be made by KWA for KWA guns.
I'm not sure on the proprietary-ness of KWA externals, I know they have receiver problems though, but why you change out a receiver unless it's cracked or something?
I think the externals would be a Jat or a Wolves question.
Because if I'm spending $360 on a high-end gun I'll plan on using for years and years to come I may want to change up the style and make it look really badass.
I may want to magpul shit on it for all we know. Tastes change.
Ahh, I see, well, really, I don't know very much about externals and KWA, but i'm sure the resident gundoctors know a hell of a lot more than I do.

Anyone had any issues with any of these?
What vest is that? I need.
(*bringing back old post)
M23 Tarzan I believe.
KWA M4/M16's can be changed externally, just not internally. My friend was able to toss on a DBoys M5 RIS and a Magpul UBR onto his KWA with no problems.
hokay. So I know you've all been anxiously awaiting this, so here it goes....THE SKS GRAB BAG DUNDUNDUUNNNNN!!
(prepare yourselves. There's lots of pictures)
We got two of each chest rig and four random pouches

CHINESE COMMIESOFT.
hnnnng
dat value
[editline]28th June 2011[/editline]
Quick, test out everything with mags and tell us how it is
It fits SKS mags?
[editline]27th June 2011[/editline]
You could probably jam '74 or stanags in there, but it wouldn't close.
I'm sold, gonna buy that shit later this week
It almost looked like they had rucksacks in the picture, I wonder how many of each thing they must have.
[editline]28th June 2011[/editline]
I'm probably going to finish my ALICE gear next month, hopefully my friend will come back from china with a JG V3 gearbox for my XM8, and i'll have to pay him, I gotta get my gun upgraded a little this week, whilst saving for the KWA, so maybe in two weeks or so i'll get this, although I don't have an AK.

Can I have that? :3:
[editline]28th June 2011[/editline]
I seriously would buy it though if you wouldn't mind dealing with shipping and if it wasn't too expensive.
[editline]28th June 2011[/editline]
Oh, and if it fit 74 mags :v:
With shipping, it'd be smarter to just buy the set yourself.
oh man
alright i gotta do this
We're fuckin buying it fo sho.
Can those SKS rigs hold STANAGs?
That's all from one package? Wow.
Do those chest rigs hold 74/47 mags?
hokae. So here is my official analysis on the SKS grab bag.
If you have an AK or AR the 7 pocket chest rig is for you, an AK47 or AK74 mag will go in about 3/4 of the way and stay in pretty well, you just cant close the top. STANAGs fit almost perfectly.
The 10 pocket chest rig seems more useful for 40mm grenades and other nicknacks of similar size than anything else.
The weird looking harness thing with the flare pouches? and STANAG type pouches, is okay for STANAGs but the flare part is perfect for Thompson or MP5 or similar mags.
The drum mag pouch works well for a Thompson drum or holding miscellaneous shit you might be carrying around. And the 12.7mm bag (the long tapered one) is pretty much only useful for holding random shit that might happen to be about that shape.
The pouch with the four narrow pockets is good for short smg mags or extended pistol mags or candy bars.
And finally, the big rectangular bag is pretty good for RPK mags or miscellaneous item.
If you have any more questions I'll answer all that I can
the store I got this from? Cali
So I'm buying an AK 74 and I want to put AK mags in the pouches. Good buy or waste of money in this circumstance? Did you get a Chicom in all that? I can't tell.
