My AKs name is Nakia, which is kind of ironic because in Greek and Russian it's a cutesy type name, but it means "wild one"

When I get my 1911 I'm naming it either Aphrothite or Nike (pronounced Niki) and getting custom wood grips with either Aphrothite or Nike carved on them, depending on which I choose

I misread your AK's name as Nokia, which resulted in much confusion.
Haha I can see how that would confuse you
My P226 is now named Nokia

I'm serious
I named my gun [sp] just kidding[/sp]

But my airsofting bro calls my USP
"Kinky German sex toy"
When I get my AK I'm going to write it's name on the stock in Cyrillic. After I figure out a name for it. I was going to name it Anya but that would look dumb written on the gun in Cyrillic because it's just three letters. Then again if I put that on the stock and then some random numbers it would probably look like some serial number slapped on at an armory.
I think the lower handguard is a better place to write the name. Or on the receiver cover
Ordered a KWA M4 S-System last week, going to be here today according to the tracker...
...got all my attachments from my last M4, this gonna be good... :quagmire:

I think it'd look pretty cool on the receiver cover.
Giving a gun a girl's name is a bit overused, IMO. I carved судьба into the receiver cover of my AK, figured it fits the Stalker theme.

If I wanted to be unique I'd write 我愛中華 on a gun. It roughly translates to "I love China" and it's the name of a Chinese patriotic song.
carve
блин думал русский
into gun
apparently it translates into "russian pancake thought"

you and your russian private messages
he asked me "DO YOU SPEAK RUSSIAN"
i said "нет"
he said "russian pancake thought"
and then left the chat
how the fuck do chinese people write paragraphs fast with those extremely complicated letters? I mean, just look at them.
How do Chinese people even remember all the letters in their alphabet? And what does a Chinese keyboard look like? Does it have like billions of keys?
magic

Clusterfuck of letters, I'm guessing they choose which one with shift, ctrl or something like that.
That looks horrifyingly complicated
How do Chinese people even remember all the letters in their alphabet?
How do Americans even remember all the combinations of letters in their words? The Chinese memorize how to draw symbols, you memorize how to spell words, there's no significant difference in complexity. Unique symbols is less efficient when using a keyboard, but it's no more difficult to remember in of itself, especially as many Chinese symbols are pictographic to a degree.
When typing chinese there are multiple ways to go about it. We in Taiwan have traditional chinese, and we also use this system that basically let's us write down the sound of a word using multiple characters. The characters in the upper right corners of each key correspond to sounds, much like your letters. You type out the sound, and then you scroll down a list for the right word. There are also what are like root words. Each one has a definite meaning, and while they are often used as standalone words, they appear in other words, for example the word for fire is present in the word for cooking. You can also type using those.
Sounds extremely inefficient and complicated
feh, typing is much harder than writing it, and fuck your english shit, so many weird rules with like one exception.
[editline]22nd July 2011[/editline]
although tbh my chinese is like ten times worse than my english
You should try texting in Chinese so much harder took me 5 minutes to write 你好馬, you get the 4 tones and strokes of certain characters on the numpad. Fun Fact traditional symbols will symbolize the word like rain would look like rain drops dropping according to a teacher of mine.
uhhh did you just write "How are you, horse?"
[editline]22nd July 2011[/editline]
wait no you wrote "hello, horse"
if you're asking "how are you" it's 你好嗎
Someone near me is selling a JG-Bar 10 for $25. I'm expecting it to have some kind of problem, but I emailed about it anyway.
Is there a semi-cheap way to upgrade it to a good level? I keep seeing all these $100 parts and I'm not sure what I'd actually need. As in, could I just get a tightbore and a slightly stronger spring without having to get all those expensive reinforced parts?

I'm not sure how accurate this guide is but it seems helpful:http://www.airsoftforum.com/board/2008-Vsr-10-Upgrade-Guide-t97319.html

Just take the plunge and buy one of the 100 dollar kits. You've only put 25 into the damn thing already.
