i mean i would probably like it if it was an actual gun instead of an m14 buried in plastic
MCS Looks nice.
certainly better than the ebr i'd say
I'm new to airsofting and i need some tips. I really want to start off with a sniper rifle because i'm not the rushing kind of guy. were gonna airsoft in a nearby forest so i need a good sniper rifle between the price of 0-130 and i also need tips for the best BBs and best gear
the general advice here is don't get a sniper rifle especially not for your first gun
i tried a guy's sniper rifle once fucking hated the thing since it was stock and my 74m could reach farther

And also theres really no such thing as the best gear, only gear that works best for a certain individual, like me, i prefer a simple ALICE belt. Besides, most people base gear on what loadout they intend to do, for me thats a Rookie Stalker loadout.
any suggestions for guns for a beginner?
G&g combat machine m4s or cyma aks
Well, it depends on what kind of rifle you want mostly. A lot of people will just post what we consider the 3 best beginner guns and that doesnt work if you dont like AR's or AK's. [editline]22nd August 2011[/editline]
G&g combat machine m4s or cyma aks
Correction, all the CYMA AK's above CM.040.
of course there are lots of solid airsoft guns but most of the really nice shit is priced high enough that if you don't actually like airsoft all that much you're out a lot of cash
The CYMA M14s are p. nice from what I hear too.
Yes, CYMA M14 are p. nice. However on mine the fire selector came off in the first match i played with it, as did the bolt release.
Well those aren't really important. [editline]22nd August 2011[/editline] Just switch it to full auto and pull the selector off.
Well those aren't really important. [editline]22nd August 2011[/editline] Just switch it to full auto and pull the selector off.
no, by fell off i mean i dont have it anymore.
Just bought one of these: Next up, gonna get some Gulf war style goggles or Bolle X800s, not sure which yet. And i'm also looking at MP5s.

I'm just going for an 'anything' loadout, so i'm just trying to find some eyepro that goes well with a PASGT. The 'gulf war style' goggles i'm looking at are these: http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info.php?products_id=2425 Not sure how well they'd fit under a helmet.
The Bolle X800's rarely fog up but they don't really work that well with the PASGT. I have them and I use them all the time with my PASGT but I hate how I have to wear them under the helmet. I think they're designed for MICH helmets.
Yes, CYMA M14 are p. nice. It feels so loose. But Cyma M14 = best M14, fuck what everyone else says.
Me and my friend are thinking about buying RA Tech's Troy MCS M14's if they decided to go into production. EBRs have been done before, don't really feel like going that route now.
that last MCS is major victory [editline]22nd August 2011[/editline]
I'm new to airsofting and i need some tips. Which is just more money wasted.
Decent sniper stock? KJW 10 22, dead on accuracy to 150ft stock with .28 bb's. Money whore though :P
I bought an AK. Feels good man
The bolt release I understand but you gotta be gentle with the fire selector. It feels so loose. But Cyma M14 = best M14, fuck what everyone else says.
The fire selector on mine wobbles like a bitch but it's just the peg that goes into the gearbox, the actual part that sticks out is pretty firmly on and i've tightened up the screw. The bolt release is a peice of shit though, put any pressure on it whatsoever and the pin that holds it in just slips out and the whole thing falls apart. It's a damn good gun though, i've had mine since christmas and played a good few games with it, not had any major issues.

Traded it with some kid for 2 JG m4's
Welp, my 2 year old CA M4 is dying. I don't really feel like basically replacing everything, re-shimming, getting a new motor, and buying another goddamn $80 battery for a gun that I don't really even like, so I think I'll just put that load of dosh towards a Ruski loadout. Partially from having airsofted yesterday and noticing that every single person had an M4, SCAR, or shitty sniper rifle. I was the only one not wearing Desert MARPAT, Woodland MARPAT, or UCP. Fucking annoying.
The bolt release I understand but you gotta be gentle with the fire selector. It feels so loose. But Cyma M14 = best M14, fuck what everyone else says.
Welp. Bolt broke today. Shit balls, What gun do i have that ISNT a lemon in some area?!
Welp. Bolt broke today. Shit balls, What gun do i have that ISNT a lemon in some area?!
I think you can replace it with the G&G bolt.
I think you can replace it with the G&G bolt.
its more that the spring that the bolt operates on disconnected from the charging handle mechanism.
Just bought a riggers belt, a V3X tactical light, a rear mbus 2 sight, and an eotech clone. Oh, and a coldsteelknife
