In theory a regular Russian soldier should have one of those helmets with a Digital Flora cover, Digital Flora BDU, 6B23, and a 6Sh112. In reality you'll still find lots of Flora and 6Sh92s outside of VDV and Naval Infantry, but some of the more elite Motor Rifles units should have Digital Flora BDUs at least.

On paper they don't use steel helmets anymore. In reality, alot of soldiers still haven't been issued the new kevlar ones

Well the VDV is the best equipped unit in the whole Russian Army. I meant alot of regular infantry don't have them yet. Non-combat and reserve troops mostly I would assume

Then you more or less have a South Ossetia War loadout.

Well, back to square one. I want to find a g&p m16VN. The one that is on uncommand is the m16a1. The only place i can find the actual m16vn is on evike, but it has that dumbass "zombie killer" receiver. So i guess i'll have to buckle and buy the m16a1 as it seems no place has the vn in stock.

Well i was going to build a vietnam load out. I can use an a1 but i really like the m16 forward assistless.
