Well if you're going to nitpick, the marushin is actually and M2, and don't say it's the same thing because I can name a shitton of differences between the two. Also, the 6mm Marushin isn't blowback, you have to cycle the action by hand, and the receiver group of the 10/22 does look similar to the M1 and Bill Ruger said himself that the M1 Carbine was the model for the 10/22
aye kjw m1 carbine would be fucking cash
Once you put the sights on, the only thing that's that different about it is the mag. The receiver is p. close.
m2 carbine receiver(I know, it's not the same as a m1, but the receiver is close):

10/22 receiver:

I'd argue that the m2(which is 6mm and GBB, redwolf airsoft has nice video about it) is much closer to a m1 than the 10/22
Add the Carbine sights and the 10/22 looks like a Carbine except with a top strap on the receiver. It's close enough for people who aren't hardcore "living historian" stitch nazis.
If you want to shell out the extra $200 for the Marushin and then keep shelling out more money to keep fixing it, just because it's more correct, nobody is stopping you.
To be completely frank with you I find that somewhat ironic coming from a person who was nitpicking about the differences between the m1 and m2, when the m1 and 10/22 are even more different.
Either way I wouldn't skirmish a WWII era gun, it'd look quite silly next to a bunch of multicam operators.

have you gone mad? that's exactly why I'd use it
[editline]16th October 2011[/editline]
fuck their elitist multicam operator dome of influence bubble, I'll roll with whatever I damn well please
At Pine Plains I rolled in standard dull BDU's with a condor vest, my M1100, my MP5K, and my SVD. My squad leader had over $4K in gear. My next big national game loadout will consist entirely of shotguns. Fuck haters.
... entirely shotguns
like
you will be wearing shotguns
instead of gear

That's the plan, stitch together shell hulls for pouches and clothing. This also translates to the first game of strip airsoft.
i was just kind of imagining a lot of shotguns loosely lashed together to form rudimentary coverings.

They are pretty similar once you remove the rail and attach the m1 sights.
[editline]16th October 2011[/editline]
the only differences at that point is that the mags are a little smaller and the receiver covers the bolt instead of leaving it exposed.

NO, do not ruin a perfectly good gun with that.
upgrade the internals before you ruin the externals.

He came down to play at combat city last week was awesome, really nice guy good CQB player.
I just got a copy of my prescription so I'll probably be ordering inserts for my revision sawflys when I get home.

he has no idea what he is talking about
he seems nice enough though
Stands in front of a HAAS VF4 CNC Vertical milling machine and never uses it. I am disappointed :(
do
do you look at cnc machines for like
porn?
I see them running everyday. I mean if you got a 50-100K CNC machine sitting behind you in your video, why not use it for something. I'm surprised they haven't machined any custom stuff and made a video of it.

In his intro shells eject through a closed dust cover.
Bought an Ak74m stock
next on my todo list: cyma 040 ($174.60, 15% off and $148.41)
oddly enough the 15% off covers the cost of which I bought my stock :v:
See! Real steel~
I faxed my prescription info to Revision. It'll be like $110 shipped for custom RX inserts. Not bad considering how much contacts cost and I hate them.
I can use them in Sawfly's or their Turbofan goggles. Both work for airsoft. Both are ~styling~ and OPERATOR as fuck.
except I bought a dboys stock
real steel stocks don't fit vfcs because the gearbox takes up room so you'd have to dremel real steel stocks to fit an airsoft ak74m
I herd u liek M1 Carbines

interesting how in the pokemen world everything is settled by a pokemon battle rather than a thug pulling out a gun mid-battle and shooting the trainer and stealing the pokemans
Eh... it happens.

and so... the president of team rocket deemed it wise that every low ranked member of the organization assigned to protection detail and robbery each be equipped not with a firearm, but with a low level pokeman instead so that they may get their asses kicked by an unnamed 11 year old
is the Snow Wolf M9 any good?

For two weeks. The hfc one will actually last you a while for the price you pay.
