It's not like other cartoons don't have exaggerated features. But I can understand that people dislike anime being that a lot of anime is filled with fan service to please the lonely population of Japan. However, there is a significant amount of good anime out there. This could have potential, disregarded FABULOUS VILLAIN.

What do you mean by horrible facial design? I agree that the standard emo teen template is over used, but it's not like there's no variation. I don't know what the fuck you're on about. Nobody draws moving backgrounds, what are you talking about? Backgrounds are usually paintings, it would cost ungodly amounts of money to animate backgrounds. How can you apply "bad story lines" to an entire facet of a genre? That's like saying "I don't like drawings because they're ugly". Animatrix dood.
