No one cares, Disneyland is one of the first Theme Parks where a Parent and child can both enjoy the rides together. This makes it an amazing park and will always be
Um, my park is 48 years older and is literally the oldest amusement park in California and has always had rides that both children and parents can go on. :colbert:
"This is just a delay, that's all it is. All major theme parks have delays! When they opened Disneyland in 1956, nothing worked!" "Yeah, but John when the Pirates of the Caribbean breaks down the pirates don't eat the tourists" I love Disneyland. It doesn't have the bells and whistles that Disney World has, but it has a charm of its own. Also, Disneyland at least keeps in mind where they came from unlike Universal. Universal closes old iconic attractions and replaces them with forgettable rides to please the "iCarly" generation. Disney just opened a Little Mermaid attraction and that was a movie from 1989! Closing Back to the Future was the last straw for me and I haven't had my annual pass renewed since. I REFUSE to pay that much for 2 attractions (Jurassic Park and Mummy). Disney has class, Universal has ass.
Whenever I heard someone refer to Disney Land and Disney World I thought they were talking about the same thing seeing as I've never been to a Disney Theme Park. Now that I know, has anyone on Facepunch gone to Disneyland's Club 33?
Disney's rhymes with business. Just thought I'd be clever.
Disneyland died with Walt Disney.
I love disneyland. Florida's too damn far away.
I really like Disneyland over Disney World because as several other people noted earlier, Disney World is simply much too big. You can't get everything done, and you have to pay for each individual entrance for each individual park. What that means is that if you're at Magic Kingdom and you want to ride the Indiana Jones ride, you're boned unless you get a pass for MGM. [editline]19th July 2011[/editline] Although World has Epcott, which is fucking delicious if you get a food pass.
It's been open 56 years. I've been alive for 18 years. Not once have I been to Disney World.
I firmly believe that at some point you HAVE to go to Disneyland. Otherwise, you are incomplete as a person.
