Just as legitimate as the one you posted.
Yellow Snow <3
"Something yellow in the snow"
You would bend down for that.
You know, the way I see it; if they can't take of their expensive shit then that's their problem. I always make sure I have everything secure with me, especially when I'm out in public. From checking my pockets for keys, iPod Touch, earbuds, wallet, and my wallet's contents; I always make sure things are there and won't get out of my pockets easily.
I do this, though somehow I misplaced my decent 8 GB Sandisk flash drive. Some people are just dicks, because it was probably left in a computer at school I asked my teacher (Who's classes are in the computer lab) if I left it there. Nope.
If someone even attempted to find the owner, they'd notice that the drive name was my first and last name. I also had a .txt in there with the name "Contact information", which had my cell phone number, email, first name and last name.
Didn't loose anything except for some drivers which were a pain to find, though I liked that flash drive.
Damn it. Some idiot smashed my parents car window and stole my iPod Touch a year ago that I won at a RAFFLE. Moral: Never leave valuable objects in the seat, I feel so stupid :saddowns:. I hate how the one time I screw up (I would have put it under the seat or in a compartment) someone takes it.
Love how everyone is pretending to be all righteous calling the OP a dick.
Gj Facepunch you never cease to amaze me.
If I found someones ipod I would return it only if they had good taste in music.
One time I saw some girl go through her locker, and she dropped her phone. She walked away without it, so I scotch-taped it to her locker with a note saying "Hey dumbass, you dropped this." The next day I found a note taped to my locker saying "Thanks <3."

why dick to girl if she like you me no understand
Try to find the owner.
I once lost €20 while I was shopping for a book and some ingredients for delicious stuff.
Didn't get screamed at, but I felt terribad. I had lost an amount that meant much to me.
Whoever took what those €20 is a freaking idiot.
I'd bet it was the book store keeper. She's dumb and annoying.
That, and a comic book I lost in a plane travel. I managed to buy a new copy somehow.
I hate how easily I lose stuff.
That's why I leave my wallet home when I don't need it.
Then again, if you don't give it to a Lost and Found station or its legitimate owner, you're a total imbecile. The iPod belongs to someone else, not you. They bought it.
I've lost countless MP3 players in my first two years of High School. One of them being my Coby MP3 touchscreen player that was hooked up to the back of the computer. I forgot it and one period later came back, someone in the last class stole it and never gave it to the office.
And it had my name engraved in the back.
all these people saying "oh you should turn it in" are just mad, because the same thing probably happened to their possessions. if they saw something awesome in pristine condition, I'm sure they'd take it.

yeah if you're an immature little shit that doesn't take responsibility to find the owner. Mistakes happen and just because someone might of accidentally lost something and someone else finds it doesn't give them the right to keep it unless they make an effort to find the owner of it. If they don't find the owner then within some amount of time like within a week-to a month then yeah I guess it's yours but till then there's no need to be a little fuckhead and take something that doesn't belong to you.
No its mine
Everyone saying 'you're a bad person for not returning it' is just jealous because they didn't find an iPod Nano 16GB.
Every single one of them would keep it for themselves and they know it :v:

Honestly, if someone's got something that expensive in a place on their person where it can just fall out without them noticing they don't deserve it. That's just dumb.
I found a LG cameraphone but my parents wont let me reactivate it

I found a $2,000 Cintiq 21UX (http://www.wacom.com/cintiq/cintiq-21ux.php) sitting out on the lawn at my apartments where I live. Turned it into the Art building at UCLA and found out it was an instructors pad that he uses for in-class demonstrations and had lended to one of his best students to finish a project. I could've easily taken it for myself and not think twice about what I did. Not everyone who is faced with that kind of situation just automatically assumes that because they found it it's theres.
That's lucky, I guess.

Did the teacher suck your dick afterwards?
And now it's all about karma.
Will you try to find the owner or keep it? Personally I would try to find the owner.
I can't believe how righteous facepunch is
irl if they found something of value, they'd keep it
Ever notice that every once in a while, we get a thread like this where it's "I found X in Y"
hardstyle
throw it out the window.
Surprising how nice some of Facepunch is. I know how much it sucks to lose an iPod 5th Gen 16GB. Someone either a) Stole it at my party or b) I lost it... So, if you CAN try to find the owner. But, who am i kidding. If i had been the one to find it. I would think it was Karma being nice to me :h:
I find this funny because most of you on here would have likely taken the iPod for yourselves also.
Well, i have asked if somebody in my class has lost one. None of them has.
I wouldnt just keep it...i would go to the store and tell the owner if anyone asks about an ipod nano to contact you. then give him your details. and if 2 weeks roll by then ITS YOURS! but yea dont go and put up posters and ask all around town, because then some liar is going to be like yea its mine! cuz if someone other than the actual owner is going to have it, it should be you, you found it. =]
What a dickmove.
