If I wasn't stuck in Colorado I'd totally go.
if i wasn't stuck in colorado i'd totally go.
Take a plane :)
Take a plane :)
And how pray tell would you get your equipment and guns to the OP? You couldn't bring them on the plane.
Yeah you can. Just declare them like real weapons. And hey, Codemonkey, you should come to this game, too haha
I don't want to drive three hours out of state. Also, I'm not a Commie Pinko bastard.
Nor am I, but I'm going. And it's going to be, like, a mini-FP meetup. Me, Cube, and then quite possibly Nivek, Metal Man, and hell, Identity might be coming up.
Identity? How does that work? I thought he lived in Florida.
I don't want to drive three hours out of state. Also, I'm not a Commie Pinko bastard.
Why no love for Communism?
Because I rather not share a godless shack in Siberia when I can live in the land of the free and home of the brave.
Because I rather not share a godless shack in Siberia when I can live in the land of the free and home of the brave.
What does Siberia have to do with anything?
Identity may be taking a train or bus up.
What does Siberia have to do with anything?
What does fresh apple pie, bikini's and democracy have to do with anything? Everything.
Codemonkey you better come, I could maybe give you a ride of necessary. Talked to my cronies, I have a couple so far, We maybe be able to carpool 10 - 15 people. FACEPUNCH SOVIETS YES YES. I'll PM you a list of names when I have them.
Not so big on hitching rides with strangers from the internet, facepunch no less. But maybe, again, I don't have a Commie-Kit so I'd have to be American, I've got nothing else to be honest, PMC maybe. [editline]08:05PM[/editline] I also don't have a FRS radio. [editline]08:10PM[/editline] Codemonkey will reflect on this.
Dude, most of us aren't going in commie loadouts. I'll be wearing a CB CIRAS or an ICE Direct Action rig with M81 or MARPAT. It's just Cube and his guys (5-10, I think) who will be running as Eastern Bloc. We'll just be on the "Soviet" team. So yeah. You should go. It's gonna be sweet.
Yeah it's just a few of us running in Eastern Bloc Equiptment. We don't mind running with capitalist pigs
What does fresh apple pie, bikini's and democracy have to do with anything? Everything.
What are you even -
Yeah I was lost there so I gave up lol
Communism is a cool idea, but it's way too idealistic to actually work in the real world. Anyway, wish I could go to this thing, would be lots of fun, but I don't think it'd be worth the drive down, to be honest.
I'm a Communist (Marxist-Leninist) myself. I believe that eventually, Capitalism will start to fail and things will become bad enough that a revolution is needed. To many Communism doesn't make sense now or that it isn't needed. Capitalism will fail though, soon enough but what will happen after that, I don't know.
What are you even -
apple pie is considered an american thing Bikini's are also considered american.
I'm cool with the mixed-market economy we have in Canada. I dislike the pure capitalism that is in the US though, especially with that dumbass idea of the "Invisible Hand" or whatever.
I dislike Capitalism because it is fueled by greed and greed causes corruption.
I think that in the future it will be corporations running america and other countries. They already wield tons of power and are likely to gain more. Can't you tell I'm excited about Deus Ex Human Revolution?
I dislike Capitalism because it is fueled by greed and greed causes corruption.
Sounds about right to me. I haven't experienced pure capitalism myself, being a Canadian and Indonesian, but the whole thing seems wrong to me. Although I'll say that the competitive market system also increases productivity, with the constantly growing population of the US, it is bound to fail sometime. Anyway, let's not turn this into a political discussion. [editline]asd[/editline]
I think that in the future it will be corporations running america and other countries. They already wield tons of power and are likely to gain more. Can't you tell I'm excited about Deus Ex Human Revolution?
Fuck yeah, I'm super excited for that game. Also, I actually wouldn't be surprised if everything fell into control of some corporations. Seems like that's what it's heading towards right now.
Also, I actually wouldn't be surprised if everything fell into control of some corporations. Seems like that's what it's heading towards right now.
I don't mean to sound like a crazy conspiracy theorist, but it pretty much is that way in the US already.
Well, the economy is controlled by the people and their companies, that was the point of the free market economy or whatever.
Let's have this Harvard graduate explain my views on Communism
